What an awesome game, congrats to the SU lacrosse team!!!
Jim Berkman is one of the people who make Salisbury truly great, in spite of some of the problems we have here. I'm glad that the Gulls won today without the two spoiled brats that went on the crime spree the other night. We should be proud of the team and the excellent coaching that make the Seagulls so much fun to watch year after year.
The two goalies are likely to be in trouble for some time. My guess is that they will be forced to pay at least several thousand in damages, will get jail time, and will probably be thrown out of college. I'd be shocked if they ever got back on the team here.
To say that Jim Berkman condoned or somehow assisted those two players on their crime spree, as some bloggers have on this website, is totally irresponsible. Jim is a very classy guy, and those of you bloggers who have suggested otherwise should be embarrassed. Ben Tacheron

In my opinion the lack of any action against Janet Dudley-Esbach posting extremely offensive, perverted and unbelievably immature comments on her My Space has led to the feeling of invincibility by those vulnerable to such thinking, If the president of the university's own son is allowed to go on a drunken spree in the same neighborhoods, what is there to stop others? And why are people pointing the finger at the lacrosse coach, why aren't the professors and academic adviser's of these 22 and 21 year old adults held to such scrutiny as well? Being a part of the SU lax team has probably PREVENTED a lot more stupid behavior, those kids respect Berkman because he walks the walk and is an EXCELLENT role model. If something had been done to the SU PRESIDENT perhaps the entire institution would have gotten the message. These people from the Western Shore come here and buy up houses for their kids, they regard us as neanderthals ripe for exploitation (which our mayor happily obliges with TIFS and zoning appeals boards made up of slumlords. The solution is to get people elected that are trustworthy, fair and free from the agenda to make a fortune for themselves and their cronies.
Congratulations SU LAX team. It was my prayer that the team would hold their heads high and defeat Gettysburg today. Those two thugs, former teammates needed a good comeuppance. The team can, will and did win without them.

Her son did go on the spree as described, and I am tired of excuses being made for thugs who will not control themselves and cannot be controlled by their parents. There is always some lame excuse for their criminal conduct. Breaking car windows is bad enough, but who thinks of throwing 8 foot timbers through someone's window? These are deviant, spoiled sociopaths.
why use the word spoiled? Sociopaths yes, but spoiled? You obviously did not attend a place of higher learning if you believe all college students are spoiled. The connotation of your statement implies your belief. I won't hold it against you, as you are not educated on the matter.
