When I drove by I was not sure what was up but it looked like a body covered in military blanket under the drivers rear quarter panel of the Salisbury city police car. All the officers were standing around and one was talking to a guy in front of the county's command unit.
When we went by he was laying beside the cruiser buck naked in hand cuffs. There was only two Salisbury City officers on the scene .
I hate going thru that area. We are lucky there haven't been more bad accidents there.
Whoever the victum was, a heart felt condolences to his freinds and family. God Bless R.I.P.
I've always felt that that entire stretch should be accessible via service road only like most other areas where there is shopping centers right off a major highway.
I try my best to stay away from that area on weekends. It is a death trap and people are just plain crazy drivers.
No casualties. It was a crazy naked man running down the road. They covered him with the blanket because he was naked.
Sorry. That was my bad. Someone called me with that info and I was not in a place where I could confirm it or post it myself so I called Joe with it. The person who called me took that photo with a camera phone and e-mailed it from the road. The silver lining is that no one was killed or injured. A crazy naked man huh? Wow. People are funny. He was probably on dope.
No fatal, he was on drugs running naked from a nearby motel. Probably on the road hand cuffed and covered up so as not to scar the passerbys.
Luckily no one dead...but it did bring up a good thought....why isn't there a service road from Dagsboro Rd. behind Kohl's, Walmart, Sams, and then meeting up with the road already behind Lowes.
This would be a huge relief to the congestion of 13.
actually there is a road from behind kohl's to behind lowes, unfortunately, it has numerous speed bumps.
There is not a thru street behind Kohl,s. That is an unload area for the retail stores. It does not have a street name..
