Chamber Update

Dear Joe,

I believe the issue of this year's Salisbury festival sponsorship has been settled. We have a new sponsor this year, The Heritage of Salisbury. On behalf of the Chamber of commerce, I would like to thank them and all our sponsors for this year's event, as well as our vendors and participants.

The Salisbury Festival is a celebration of a community coming together and enjoying a great time with family and friends. It takes a lot of effort & dedication to make this event happen year after year. It is only fitting that we thank Mr. Brad Bellacicco, the chamber staff and everyone involved in putting this festival together, so that we may all join in fellowship and celebrate all that is positive in our community.

Thank you Joe,

Mark McIver

Is ASAP sponsorship on the program or not?

That isn't even worth the paper it was written on. Fact is, ASAP's name is plastered all over down there now and it sucks! This guy blowing smoke up everyone's a** should offer a public apology to all County tax payers! I'm not going this year, next or ever unless this is made right!

To Ms. Hickman and the Heritage, thank you for your sponsorship and clarification.

To Mr. McIver, you are correct the Festival is a positive thing and we should focus on fellowship.

However, A.S.A.P. is benefiting from "goodwill" advertising after being involved in something that is ANYTHING but goodwill toward the taxpayers. The ad SHOULD have been corrected (even labels or marker) to show the new sponsor.

While I'm sure Mr. Bellacicco worked hard on this, he should have given the correct explanation. The public feels lied to.

If the Chamber wants to maintain a good reputation, he should, at the very least, apologize for his statements and for not making sure the program was corrected.

What is Mark McIver's role in the Salisbury Festival that he is speaking about the issue rather than Mr. Bellacicco? Thanks.

Brad Bellacicco is a yes man to the Greater Salisbury Committee. He does as he is told and does not answer to the peasantry. That fact is quite obvious.

rsrujxAnd by the way, what a GREAT choice for "Honorary" Festival Chairman. Al Chandler, who owns Delmarva Homes, doesn't pay his sub-contractors after honest work has been completed. All contractors talk about this guy. His office staff won't answer the phone if they recognize the number of someone wanting to be paid fairly. GREAT choice, Chamber!
