Killing his oath softly

Now that the Supreme Court has cleared the way for lethal injection, you would think that Maryland would be joining other states in resuming executions. The free state is not, and we haven't been able to since late 2006. Despite all of this Governor Martin O'Malley (D) is taking his sweet ol' time in coming up with new procedures since the death penalty repeal has failed two years in a row.

Yeah if you are on death row!!
I disagree. If the death penalty was used more often in solid legal cases it would be a deterrent. As it is they know it will be years before the die.

Lets just go back to hanging, just make sure the hangman's knot is on the left side of the neck and head. Drop'um like a bag of dirt.

The death penalty was never meant to deter criminals. It is a penalty - just as it says. An eye for an eye. It's in the Bible so I know it's true. If more of this scum were taking a dirt nap we would need fewer prison guards, smaller prisons, and lower taxes. I do, however, believe that conclusive

......evidence should be a requirement.

Let's kill the criminals on death row. Send the message- You take a life and we take yours. Fair is fair.I also resent paying for their keep in prison.

There are a couple of people that I would like to kill. The only reason they still walk around is my fear of getting caught and being put to death.

While in prison they just get educated about law, and how not to get caught next time or how not to incriminate themselves.

here's the deal...skip the injection...advertise the execution in the Salisbury News....take them out in front of the old Wicomico County Courthouse...stretch their necks across a Stump...and have the Mayor just whack their heads off in front of the assembled crowd of several hundred....proud of ourselves...I don't think so...

the mayor should be the one with the head on the chopping block, what are you thinking?
