Shots fired behind the Wicomico County Visitors Center. A woman was heard screaming and the Delmar and WCSO are searching the woods as well as a State Police Helicopter with infra red censors on it to search for the woman.

I've just returned from the scene and the Police didn't find anything. The helicopter picked up a couple of images but said they had moved rather quickly, so they felt it was probably animals.

P&A used to own a pit back there, big pond, nice hills for dirt bike riding, also plenty of deer.
Joe -- wondering if you have heard anything more on this story? We live in the townhouses behind the Saturn dealership by Leonard's Mill Pond, and I must salute the departments involved. They were very thorough in their search. It's just too bad they didn't find anyone.
Also, I wanted to thank you for the service you provide with this blog. Despite the operation last night involving a helicopter and multiple personal from different departments, the other "traditional" media outlets have absolutely zero coverage. Thanks, Joe.
Probibly a fox. Durring breeding season the females have a howl that sounds like a woman screeming.
