WWTP Update

WMDT stated, "Officials don't know how the leak occurred, but they say they discovered it last night."

I don't just smell a rat, I smell sh!t to boot! Why are all different sources of the Media telling different stories?

WMDT has a reputation of getting to the bottom of a story and from what I read, they spoke with more people to get more details.

So the spill did start last night, just like my sources/commenter stated.

Holly crap! Here we go again! Is there anyone in that PW outfit fit to do the job that's needed at the WWTP? This is disgraceful. We have spent millions to correct the problems out there and here we are back in the sh$t again!

How can this happen? No one would have known if someone hadn't told Joe. The City of Salisbury is destroying that river. And people have the balls to blame farmers for the ailing health of the bay.

Will you take responsibility for this as well Barry? Let's see. What is she responsible for?

1) Turning one of the Eastern Shore's greatest resources into a bacteria laden shit hole;
2) Running an administration which can't even supply the proper financial information necessary to complete a required annual audit on time.
3) a 14% tax increase;
4) attempt to increase water and sewer fees;
5) Now trying to run storm drainage from the roadways directly into the river without any filtration system.

I cannot think of one good thing she's done. Is there no end to the things she'll do to destroy destroy this city? She needs to go folks.

I told you we smelled sh*t last night down here in Allen. We might be dumb assed hillbillies but we know sh*t when we smell it. Big difference in chicken, horse, pig and HUMAN sh*t. Its bad enough the city is destroying itself now it's working its way to destroying the river that serves the rest of us in the county.

Clean that mess up there in Salisbury, starting in city hall.

Almost makes you wonder if this wasn't staged to take the focus off the audit situation.

Nice try but no banana

ENOUGH is ENOUGH

Anon 7:14 pm:
ref # 4) point:
the city actually DID raise the water/sewer fees over the last 3 or 4 years......up by about 70% overall.
last year was an attempt to raise the fees even further, but was shot down when 8+ million in excess funds was discovered in the water/sewer account. mayor wanted to keep the increase despite this new found money.
