A Message From Senator Andy Harris

Friends,

This week, our campaign announced the amount of money we have raised since July 1st. This was a great quarter in our campaign. People are willing to open their wallets to help our campaign because they realize we need a change in the first district. When people see my fiscally conservative record in the State Senate and then compare it Gilchrest's liberal fiscal record, such as voting for over $30 billion in new taxes this year; they are willing to invest in my campaign to bring fiscal responsibility to Washington.

For those of you curious how much we raised, let me give you a brief summary. We raised over $352,000 bringing our total raised this year to $526,000. We have $402,000 cash on hand. These fundraising numbers show we will have the money necessary to get our message out to the voters.

Unlike Gilchrest, our campaign cannot send out full-color mailers paid by taxpayers to people throughout the district, so we have to continue to raise money right up until the election.

I appreciate all of your support for my candidacy. The momentum is definitely building in our favor. Don't forget to visit www.andyharris08.com

Thanks,

Andy
