May I See Your Permit Please?

Signs like this are going up all over the City for Student Rentals, yet the City doesn't seem to be doing anything about it? These signs are ILLEGAL and it shouldn't take Citizens or Blogs to expose them for this illegal activity. These Slum Lords know what's legal and what's not, FINE THEM without warning. When someone let's their Parking Meter run out of time, you don't WARN them for breaking the law. YOU FINE THEM ON THE SPOT! Enough is enough with this FOB crap!

I agree Joe, the slumlords responsible for such signs should be hit with good fines for this illegal act. I wonder if they even asked the Benedicts to put up this sign? If they did does that make them legao signs?

The "SalisburyApartments" sign is on the shopping center (managed by Rinnier, I believe). And for many months (until this summer) there was a "Marley Manor" sign at that spot.

Don't blame Benedicts for this outrageous conduct.

I believe the Rinnier group owns both the shopping center, and the residential units being advertised with eh pole and banner signs.

If the shopping center is theirs they can put whatever they want on the property as long as they don't impede traffic visibility or violate municipal sign codes.

Hasn't Rinnier been the benefactor of several actions (or inactions) from the city government? It almost seems like they are receiving special treatment because they are an FOB. Of course, FOBs do not get special treatment. What other possibilities exist?

I thought you were talking about the sign that said, PANSIES ARE HERE.

There certainly are plenty on this blogsite.

I concur! It does seems there are an unusual number of conservative Republicans who like this site, and given the apparent predilection of this group to be wide stanced, footsie playing, tool tasting, masters of buggery it's not an unreasonable conclusion.

Conservative Republicans - The New Queers!

Whoever said "If the shopping center is theirs they can put whatever they want on the property as long as they don't impede traffic visibility or violate municipal sign codes":

You better check the law. Normally there is no legal signage for off-site business, etc., except by special permit (billboards, etc.).

Of course, this being Sprawlsbury, and it being Rinnier......

Let us not forget here in the hamlet of Sprawlsbury(I like that), the little prince Blair Rinnier is also the son-in-law of one Dr. John and County Councilwoman Gail Bartkovich.
