So Do Tell Me.........

Barrie Tilghman, Gary Comegys, John Jacobs & Tom Stevenson,

How is it you send letters to the property owners in Salisbury "forcing" us to remove graffiti within 14 days but when it comes to what you're responsible for, it simply doesn't get done at all?

I have shown photos of graffiti that has been left up for years & many months and nothing is getting done. I say, from here on out, don't remove anything. Simply use the archives from this Blog Site to go to Court and show the Judge that the City MUST practice what it preaches and not do the old do as I say, not as I do pattern Barrie has used throughout her time as Mayor.

The POINT is, no matter where it is located, it is protected by the Salisbury City Police Department. They cannot do their jobs properly if these lights are out.

Secondly, the lamps throughout the City shouldn't be in such disrepair all the time and someone should be checking this out at least weekly, if not daily. It's for the SAFETY of the taxpayers. WE PAY FOR THESE SERVICES! I want what I'm paying for, to the maximum amount.

Ok, so what is the issue here, the graffiti or the lights? Confused yourself?

If its the graffiti, that bridge is owned by and the responsibility of Conrail NOT the city. Although, it would be nice if they did paint it, its been years.

If you go back to the Post with the homeless guy sitting there next to this same overpass, the concrete wall was painted battleship gray just above his head. The City painted that, therefore they should be responsible for the metal overpass as well.

Then there's the next bridge only 100 yards away that has graffiti all over it, concrete and metal. IF the owner doesn't clean it up, it's up to the City to do so and bill them back for the expense. So no matter what, the City is sitting on its a*s doing nothing, yet demanding we do our buildings/properties.

Do notice Folks, ALL the graffiti on "every" building Downtown is cleaned up. Time to get off your a*s Barrie and clean up this City!
