Poll Question

At a time when City taxes are going up, the City is paying off developer reimbursements, the City is being fined by the MDE, the Zoo is looking to raise some $36,000,000.00 and they're already asking Folks to also put up donations to help provide for this massive renovation.

Do you believe the Salisbury Zoo should charge a small admission, (possibly $1.00) for non residents to enter the Zoo?
Yes
No

Jim Rapp is sending out e-mail messages to the Friends of the Salisbury Zoo asking them to vote NO on this poll because he just came to learn you can now only vote once a year on our polls! LMAO!

PB,

You are correct. There are only a hand full of Zoo's left in America that are free and I can assure you, none of those City's are in the financial dire straights that the City of Salisbury is in.

Nevertheless, most every Zoo you'll ever visit has a fee. The Baltimore Zoo is at least $8.00 per person to get in. So a $1.00 fee is minute. Let me add, if you're so worried about who's collecting the cash at the gates, who's collecting all the cash donations and counting it each day at the Zoo now? Things that make you go, hmmmmm?
