Medical conditions and records are private and confidential information. End of story.
This was a subject brought up on the old TV Show called "The West Wing." I personally thought it was an interesting subject as medical conditions could alter their performance outcome.
Some people think age is a big factor as well. Let's see what this poll brings us?

When is comes to making decisions for the public, your damn right they should be known, right Richard?
While I sure understand folks' concern 'bout a medical condition affectin' performance, bein' a dog, I cock my head both ways t'look at things.
Lemme ask ya this: a healthy feller (or gal) who don't understand squat but comes t'all the meetin's? Or a cancer patient who misses meetin's fer chemo but makes good decisions?
I'm with Accomack that this is somethin' better left to the candidate. Good ones with health problems are gonna let ya know how they'll cope with it and the job.
