Kim Hudson Day

I must admit, there are days, (rare as they may be) when I attend a City Council Meeting and walk away thinking, that was really cool. Kim Hudson, (Mother of 2 children) took it upon herself to make a difference in Salisbury and made sure the Winter Wonderland of Lights were turned on and paid for.

Although the Mayor was supposed to present this Proclamation, she was conveniently on the Western Shore and never did make the meeting at all. I'm sure the egg in her face for slamming down the Winter Wonderland of Lights last year, (hoping it would never return) was enough for her to probably sit in Brew River slamming several drinks and watching PAC 14 from a Bar Stool like she used to do.

Mike Dunn said, I believe the Mayor is on the Western Shore for a legitimate business meeting. Nevertheless, thank you Kim, you're a fine woman/citizen/mother/wife and Salisbury can use quite a few more just like you.

Folks, on November 25th at 4:00 p.m. they will officially turn on the lights. Don't miss it.
