The Mason Dixon Line In Mardela

I noticed a couple of interesting things while visiting this exhibit yesterday. In one of the close up photos here you can see coins thrown inside onto the ground? The walkway leading up to it was lined with prickery bushes and they were not trimmed. Does anyone know who's supposed to care for such a location?

Mardela is spelled with one "L".

Joe, buy it, and the land around it, turn it into your kennel for Great Yorkies and retirement stables for horses that served the citizens of this community with honor.
you could possibly get a grant to upgrade and preserve an important piece of American history.
