Please Don't Forget These Animals

The Humane Society still needs your help. As we expect the Daily Times news print to become a part of the past, save your papers and deliver them to the Humane Society.

While you're there, take a look at these unbelievable animals in need of homes and or financial support.

Also, if you've lost a pet, please contact them first and see if it isn't there waiting for you. Believe it or not this happens all too often and your pet could eventually be adopted out to another family.

It would help if the woman answering the phone today had been even a bit friendly.

Whenever I've called in the past, the man answering the phone has been very helpful and knowledgeable. The only answer I could get today is, "I don't know, you'd have to come to the shelter yourself and look." (I was asking first about my neighbor's dog, who slipped his chain last week, and then about Biggie, the dog found in the shed next door about a month ago)

Since my work schedule won't permit me to visit the WHS during the week, and I'm frequently out of town on the weekends, if anybody goes by there, can you please try to find out what happened with Biggie? (brown pit bull, was brought in about a month ago starved with worms - pics on JFA) Thanks.

So is Wayleyville Animal Hospital and Dr. Tragle. You'd be amazed at how much money Dr. Tragle raises each year for them.

That is wonderful news...thank you! I'm glad for the pup - and glad you have enough patience to work your way through the morons to get answers.
