After school shooting, sheriff gives Second Amendment defense that would make Founding Fathers proud
After a 15-year-old student opened fire at a high school near Spokane, Washington, earlier this week, the Spokane County Sheriff gave a defense of the Second Amendment that would make the Founding Fathers proud.
What did he say?
During a lengthy press conference on Thursday, Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich explained in no uncertain terms that he believes a breakdown in society helped the teenage student execute his rampage, which took the life of one person and injured three others. It wasn’t the gun, the sheriff explained while defending the Second Amendment.
“I can tell you, folks, I carried a gun all my life. I hunted, I shot. My friends and I…It’s huntin’ season back home. When I was in high school, every one of those rigs in the high school parking lot had a gun in the gun rack. Why? We went huntin’ on the way home. None of those guns ever walked into a school. None of those guns ever shot anybody. What’s the difference? Did the gun change? Or did you, as a society, change? I’ll give ya odds that it was you as a society, because you started glorifying cultures of violence. You glorified the gang culture, you glorified games that actually give you points for raping and killing people. The gun didn’t change, we changed.”

Here are some of the most ridiculous things government spent money on last year
Hurricane Irma is projected to make landfall in south Florida, and Miami is unprepared, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency. With Texas still recovering from Tropical Storm Harvey and Florida preparing for Irma, it may be the worst possible moment for FEMA to be running out of funds. FEMA had only $1.01 billion on hand Tuesday morning and is expected to be out of money by Friday, Bloomberg reported.
Where did all the money go? On Wednesday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program,” Glenn Beck listed some of the most absurd examples of government spending. Miami hasn’t been hit with a hurricane this deadly in decades, and the area’s flood control system badly needs to be updated.
“Our government has blown through hundreds of billions of dollars of wasteful spending that could have been applied to preparation for Miami,” Glenn said.
In 2016, the government used money to study TV bingewatching, comedy clubs, monkey drool and hamster fights. Half a billion was spent on a radio and TV station in Miami that attempted to broadcast into Cuba even though the country’s communist leadership was blocking the signal.

TIP SHEET ON THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES FOR GOVERNOR
It’s after Labor Day, and two more Democratic candidates for governor are formally joining the race this week: Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz gets in Monday, with a rally in front of the county courthouse in Towson, and former Obama administration official Krishanti Vignarajah enters Tuesday, with an appearance at her childhood home in Baltimore.
So it seems like a good time to size up the seven-candidate Democratic field.
What’s noteworthy about this race is how there isn’t a true frontrunner. Most election cycles, one Democrat seems way ahead – or has been pre-selected by party leaders, or both.
By the normal metrics of Maryland politics, Kamenetz and Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker should be the favorites for the Democratic nomination. They’re veteran officeholders in large, important jurisdictions, with solid records, good stories to tell, and a lifetime of relationships with party elders.
But let’s face it: They aren’t all that well known – even to party activists, let alone to average voters. When it comes to laying the groundwork for a statewide campaign, each has traveled the state some – but far less, it seems, than most successful gubernatorial contenders have at similar stages of past elections. Each county executive has flaws and skeptics – and critics at home.

Allies al-Qaeda, Taliban Stronger Despite 6,786 U.S. Military Fatalities, 52,570 Injuries Since 9/11
Al-Qaeda and the Afghan Taliban, the jihadi allies responsible for the September 11, 2001, attacks on the American homeland, have grown stronger in the last 16 years despite the thousands of U.S. military casualties from the ongoing fight against the terrorist groups.
In the 16 years since 9/11, the Pentagon reports that at least 6,786 U.S. service members have paid the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan, primarily while fighting al-Qaeda and the Taliban in response to the September 11 attacks that killed 3,000 Americans and wounded an estimated 6,000 others.
Terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan have also maimed at least 52,570 American service members and killed an estimated 21 Pentagon civilians.
Among the thousands of American troops killed since 9/11, Breitbart News included the 44 fatalities and 53 injuries from the ongoing efforts in Iraq and Syria to annihilate the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), formerly known as al-Qaeda in Iraq.
The majority of U.S. military fatalities took place during the war in Iraq between March 19, 2003, and the end of 2011, when the authority allowing the American forces to remain in Iraq expired.

“Car Repo Standoff” Ends After Five Hours in Hobby Lobby Parking Lot
On Friday, September 15th, 2017 at approximately 1:45 p.m. SIA Towing of Lanham MD, attempted to repossess a vehicle.
SIA towing received repossession paperwork. Tow truck driver Toby was dispatched to the Hobby Lobby parking lot, after GPS tracking had located the vehicle. Toby located the Lexus in the parking lot, and lifted the car onto his tow truck. While attempting to secure the vehicle, an unidentified driver made contact with Toby. The Lexus driver requested to get “some personal items” out of the vehicle, and Toby allowed her to enter the car. Once in the Lexus, the driver refused to exit the vehicle. Toby contacted law enforcement, and they responded to the scene. Police advised Toby this issue was a civil matter since no crimes were committed. While deputies were on the scene Toby attempted to hookup the front tires, and the driver turned on the car and moved the front wheels, potentially endangering Toby. Police informed the driver she was not allowed to endanger him or damage his equipment. The Lexus driver allowed Toby to finish securing the vehicle, while she remained in the driver seat. Deputies left the scene, and advised Toby to call back if there was a crime committed.
Toby told the police and Driver “I have a full tank of gas and air conditioning, I can be here all weekend.”

TIGER JEALOUS? WOODS QUESTIONS ETHICS OF JORDAN SPEITH'S TRAINING REGIMEN
(ESPN) - Tiger Woods may forever be known as the world's best golfer, but recently he is becoming more and more infamous with the controversy that surrounds him. After the new #1 golfer Jordan Speith took home his third major at only 23 years old, instead of a congratulations Tiger Woods made headlines with his unruly comments. "Jordan isn't on the same playing field as us, don't get me wrong he's playing great golf, but he isn't doing it without help. There is no way his body can hit the ball like that normally, he's half my size."
Tiger was alluding to the notion that Jordan is too powerful for his size, but Jordan has been on a regimen lately that has help him put on 12 lbs of muscle in 8 weeks while cutting away some of his baby fat. Jordan commented to squash the controversy, "I will always respect Tiger for how he's changed the game, I've modeled my game and ruthlessness after him. But to say that I am a cheater is just crazy. Yes, I have been able to put on some muscle lately, and I will give that credit to my trainer and the great, legal products he has put me on. I've never seen my body change like this and I can see why he would think I am cheating the system." Jordan has been on a tear since starting his new program, he's got two straight victories including one major.

(Centreville, MD.) On 9/19/2017 at approximately 1:24 PM, the Maryland State Police Centreville Barrack responded to a reported car fire in the area of John Brown Road at Maryland Route 213 in Queen Anne’s County Maryland. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania —A story out of the Philadelphia area is serving as a reminder of the devastation wrought by the opioid epidemic.

A passerby alerted the officers to a pregnant female who was unconscious. They administered Narcan to the woman twice before she regained consciousness.

St. Louis Rioters Storm Mall, Chant ‘No Justice, No Profits’
Okay, so it doesn’t quite roll off the tongue like “no justice, no peace,” and sure it doesn’t actually make sense given that capitalism and the justice system aren’t linked in any meaningful way, but hey! It made for some great television, didn’t it?
A couple hundred angry people marched through West County Center shopping mall, forcing police to eventually close the building. They carried signs that said “Black & Brown Lives > White Comfort,” “Black Lives Matter,” “No More Racist Killer Cops,” and “White Silence is Violence.”

ACLU SEEKS IMMEDIATE HALT TO TRUMP'S TRANSGENDER SERVICE MEMBER BAN
BALTIMORE - The American Civil Liberties Union and the law firm Covington & Burling LLP today asked a judge to immediately halt to the Trump administration's ban on transgender individuals serving in the U.S. military while their lawsuit challenging the ban moves through the court system.
The motion for preliminary injunction was filed on behalf of the ACLU of Maryland and six current members of the armed forces who are transgender: Petty Officer First Class Brock Stone, Senior Airman John Doe, Airman First Class Seven Ero George, Petty Officer First Class Teagan Gilbert, Staff Sergeant Kate Cole, and Technical Sergeant Tommie Parker.
In the filing, the ACLU argues that a preliminary injunction is needed to ensure that irreparable harm is not done to military personnel and potential enlistees who are transgender while the case is resolved in the courts. The ACLU motion argues that the ban violates constitutional guarantees of equal protection and substantive due process as well as the statutory right to medical care that all service members enjoy.
"Men and women who are transgender should be allowed to serve their country rather than being exposed to this level of uncertainty and harm," said Josh Block, senior staff attorney with the ACLU's LGBT & HIV Project. "We're confident that the courts will eventually strike down this unconstitutional ban. So we're demanding a court order to prevent this shameful policy from ever being implemented."

Watch What Happens When Police Unmask Cowardly Antifa Protesters at Trump Rally In DC
If you didn’t know (or care), there was a Trump rally for his followers in which hundreds of people gathered in Washington, D.C. on the National Mall over the weekend. The rally had some people calling it the “mother of all rallies’ with somewhere around 3,000 supporters showing up.
Alright, I’m not going to indulge this. 3,000 is a lot of people – but nowhere near the title of “mother of all rallies”. Come on people. Like politics, love politics, or be utterly disgusted with both sides of politics, the truth is the truth. This was an opportunity for supporters of the President to flex their muscles, but whether the folks who voted for him just didn’t know the rally was going on, or they were fed up with Trump working with Schumer and Pelosi – They didn’t turn it into the “mother of all rallies”.
Where Trump supporters are rallying, you can be sure that the communist garbage called Antifa are sure to make their presence known. These clowns showed up in their black clothes with their faces covered, expecting to cause chaos because, well, what else do unemployed losers do with their time?
These worthless commies tried to start trouble, but where quickly and oddly silent when police enacted one command that completely showed the world just how cowardly and pathetic this group is – they made them take off their masks! That’s right. These ‘fighters’ who smash up private property and attack defenseless women where stopped dead in their tracks because they were too afraid to be violent if they could be identified. There’s your proof right there that these dirt bags don’t even believe in their own Marxist filth. It’s all just a sham, and an excuse to act like a bunch of animals.
My apologies to real animals everywhere.
