REMINDER: 45th Annual Camp Barnes Benefit Stock Car Race

Delmar, DE- The 45th Annual Camp Barnes Benefit Stock Car Race will be held at the Delaware International Speedway on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. with racing action beginning at 6:30 p.m. Rain date is scheduled for Wednesday June 21, 2017. The Delaware International Speedway is located at 37854 Sussex Highway (US 13 southbound), just north of the Delaware/Maryland line.

This year’s event will feature competitors throughout the Northeast Dirt Motorsports areas. Drivers will compete for prize money over $35,000. Big Block-Small Block Modifieds, Super Late Models, RUSH Crate Late Models, Crate 602 Sportsman, Modified Lites, Little Lincoln and Super Trucks will compete in over 100 laps of featured racing in their respective classes.

Gates open early at 4:00 p.m. with several activities and displays on hand, to include the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit and, in their first appearance at the race, the Delaware State Police Mounted Patrol Unit.

In addition, Camp Barnes will recognize Mr. Snookie Vent at intermission for his many years of dedication to Delaware racing. Intermission will also include a Monster Truck show, presented by “The Metal Shop” in Delmar, DE. “Saigon Shaker” will be on hand to entertain all fans.

Tickets to the event are available at the speedway’s ticket booth the night of the event. Spectator’s tickets are $20 and pit tickets are $35. Children under 10 accompanied by parent or guardian are admitted free to spectator seating.

Camp Barnes originally opened in 1948 and was named in recognition of Colonel Herbert Barnes. The camp is located next to the Assawoman Wildlife Area on Miller Creek near Bethany Beach. For six weeks in the summer, each week, 70 children ages 10-13 attend Camp Barnes with no financial burden on their parents. They participate in outdoor activities and are taught leadership and teamwork skills.

Mueller presided over the incredibly flawed anthrax investigation.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office says the FBI’s investigation was “flawed and inaccurate”. The investigation was so bogus that a senator called for an “independent review and assessment of how the FBI handled its investigation in the anthrax case.”

The head of the FBI’s anthrax investigation says the whole thing was a sham. He says that the FBI higher-ups “greatly obstructed and impeded the investigation”, that there were “politically motivated communication embargos from FBI Headquarters”.

Moreover, the anthrax investigation head said that the FBI framed scientist Bruce Ivins. On July 6, 2006, the FBI’s anthrax investigation FBI Plaintiff provided a whistleblower report of mismanagement to the FBI’s Deputy Director pursuant to Title 5, United States Code, Section 2303, which noted:

Study: AC/DC’s ‘Highway To Hell’ More Theologically Accurate Than 96% Of Modern Worship Songs

U.S.—A recent survey performed by CCLI confirmed that AC/DC’s hard rock classic “Highway to Hell” is more theologically accurate than 96% of the songs that most worship bands play on any given Sunday.

The study examined over 800 songs and compared their theology to the Scriptures, and found that the Australian rock group’s 1979 classic was “significantly more accurate” than over 96% of them.

“While modern worship songs tend to contain little theology, an anemic view of sin, and a poor understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit, ‘Highway to Hell’ has a very biblical view of the doctrine of hell,” a CCLI rep said. “Lead singer Bon Scott had a clear understanding of man’s natural inclination toward sin and the inevitable judgment of God that follows.”

Civil Rights Commission Launches Investigation into Trump Admin

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights says it is launching a two-year “comprehensive assessment” into the Trump administration, in light of proposed budget cuts and staff eliminations that it says will cause the civil rights of people of color, the LGBT community, and other “marginalized” groups to be at risk.

According to a press release, the commission, which was created in 1957 as an independent agency that advises Congress and the president on civil rights matters, unanimously approved the investigation.

The press statement says the commission is especially concerned with what it perceives as the Department of Justice “minimizing its civil rights efforts” by placing ICE officers in courthouses and by not emphasizing the need for protection for the LGBT community or the disabled.

In the Department of Education, the commission says the proposed budget and staffing cuts in the Office for Civil Rights will affect those filing complaints based on sex, race, and other specially protected class categories.

Proposed staffing and budget cuts, and mergers of various offices in the Departments of Labor, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services will all have a negative impact on the federal government’s job to monitor civil rights compliance efforts, says the commission.

Carrie Fisher's autopsy reveals cocktail of drugs, including cocaine, opiates and ecstasy

A Los Angeles County coroner’s report released on Monday revealed a mixture of drugs that were in actress Carrie Fisher’s system when she went into cardiac arrest on an L.A.-bound flight and later died.

Fisher’s toxicology review found evidence of cocaine, methadone, MDMA (better known as ecstasy), alcohol and opiates when she was rushed to Ronald Reagan UCLA Hospital on Dec. 23, a toxicology report showed.

The test results “suggests there was an exposure to heroin, but that the dose and time of exposure cannot be pinpointed.” Therefore we cannot establish the significance of heroin regarding the cause of death in this case.”

The tests revealed that the cocaine would have been consumed within the previous 72 hours, according to the autopsy.

Update On Main St Gym’s Ryan “Ryino” Watson This Weekend

Harrisburg PA… Main St Gym’s Ryan “Ryino” Watson battled to a unanimous victory in his professional boxing debut Saturday evening. Watson’s opponent, Carl Murphy of Harrisburg PA., came out strong throwhing hard shots that Watson was able to evade and eventually counter.

Watson had Murphy hurt in the end of the second round and was attempting to finish the fight early, but Murphy was saved by the bell and Watson continued to control Murphy through round three and four. All three judges scored the bout 39-37 with Watson winning three rounds and Murphy winning one. Watson, pictured in the center is flanked by his corner team, Main Street coach Hal Chernoff on left and assistant coach Tyrone Hargrove on right.

Mark Levin calls it: Mueller is being used to impeach Trump

Thursday, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin was back on the radio. In hour two of his program, Levin gave some thoughts on the revelation that special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating President Trump and claims that the president obstructed justice.

“There’s absolutely no reason to have a special counsel, but it’s something the Democrats want and something the Republicans capitulated to,” Levin said. “So now we have this roving prosecutor whose subject of investigation is whatever subject he decides to investigate.”

“Is that what constitutional government is about, ladies and gentlemen?” Levin asked.

Washington Redskins owner 'thrilled' by Supreme Court's trademark ruling

Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder said Monday he's "thrilled" about the Supreme Court decision striking down a federal trademark law banning names the government deems offensive.

The court ruling came in a separate case brought by Oregon-based, Asian-American band The Slants, which had been denied a trademark because its name was considered disparaging. The court ruled Monday that the law is unconstitutional.

The decision has direct implications for the Redskins’ dispute with the same office – the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, which canceled numerous trademarks for the team back in 2014 over allegations the name is insulting to Native Americans.

Joy Ann Reid Attacks Steve Scalise While He's Hospitalized

Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise is still hospitalized and in serious condition but liberal MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid didn’t let that stop her from portraying Scalise as an extremist just three days after an angry left-winger shot Scalise and tried to assassinate dozens of Republican congressmen in Alexandria, Virginia on Wednesday.

Reid had NAACP board member Rev. William J. Barber II — a prominent liberal who spoke at at the Democratic National Convention last July — on her show Saturday morning and the two quickly set about attacking Scalise, who is physically unable to defend his record.

“There’s a whole country out there and a lot of people, at least in my Twitter timeline, and it’s a delicate thing, because everybody is wishing the congressman well and hoping that he recovers, but Steve Scalise has a history that we’ve all been forced to sort of ignore on race,” Reid claimed.

“He did come to leadership after some controversy over attending a white nationalist event, which he says he didn’t know what it was,” Reid said.
