Salisbury Mayor Using City Resources for Kratovil Campaign
At Saturday's "goal setting" session for the city, Mayor Barrie Tilghman and Chambers were overheard making plans for Kratovil's appearance in Salisbury today. This was official city business. City employees like City Administrator John Pick and Chambers are typically compensated for their time. Therefore, it is illegal for those individuals to engage in partisan political activity.
Now that we have brought this to people's attention, I wouldn't be surprised if Chambers doesn't ask to be compensated for this meeting. Of course, we need only look at past years to determine if she was compensated for the annual "goal setting" session.
When the city raises your taxes next year, as they certainly will if Tilghman or one of her cronies sits in the Mayor's office, you should send a note that you already gave to Kratovil's campaign - or you supported Andy Harris.

As a representative of The Young Professionals of the SACC I just wanted to
write to thank you for helping us. Recently, we held our first re-launch
party at the new Rowens Mill Club House in Fruitland MD. Over 8 local
Restaurants and sponsors participated in our "Taste of the Town" theme. Our
event was a huge success! The party was packed with over 60 young
professionals - all having the opportunity to see our new image, logo,
website and future calendar of events before being introduced to the general
public.

On Tuesday early evening my daughter was hit by a car when she was trying to cross the road from our house to go to the park that is right across the street from where we live. We are thankful the man who hit her was actually going the speed limit. It was no fault on either side it was just an unfortunate accident. My family would lilke to send out a huge thank you for all the people who stopped to help my daughter. My family would also like to give a huge thank you for the Fire Dept., Police, and Ambulance who were there very quickly. For all those people who prayed for my daughter we thank you from the bottom of our hearts because it truly helped her.
My family tried to get a phone number or address of the man who hit my daughter but they wouldn't give it to us. So I am hoping He reads this or someone who knows him reads this will tell him that our daughter is doing fine and was sent home that night. She only suffered lots of scrapes and just the one huge bruise where she was hit. My daughter wants the man to know as well that she is truly sorry and we all hope he doing ok as well.
I hope you post this so all these people know how thankful we are for them. As well in hopes the man who was driving the car will know that my daughter is ok.

Look, everyone knows I appreciate Sam's Club delivering lower prices to our area but one has to be fair and ask, how can they be $ .20 cents a gallon LESS than their other location not that far from Salisbury?
Granted, Sam's Club is MUCH lower than those Kratovil Gas Stations locally but this is ridiculous. Americans are being cheated and just like the Stock Market, OUR GOVERNMENT is once again proving they cannot monitor or regulate certain businesses they have every right doing so.
Close your eyes Congress and line your pockets. It certainly pays to be a Politician these days, doesn't it?

18 Soldiers Return Frome Iraq Like Hero's Should Be
While 15 out of the 18 are actually from Salisbury, this certainly was a Hero's Welcome with a Police Escort, Patriot Guard Escort and Fire Department Escort. It was certainly a tear jerker for many and while I have many photos from this event today, I can only put up so much at one time.
I want to thank ALL of you for attending. The arrival time bounced back and forth several times but I for one didn't care what time they got in, I knew it would be well worth the wait.
So Thank You Soldiers for all you do. This Unit trained for this mission for just about a year before they were deployed to Iraq and stayed for just about a year in Iraq.
There's no question in my mind that when ANY Soldier returns to this Eastern Shore, their reception is one they ALL know we appreciate what they're doing for us here in the States. It's a beautiful day in our neighborhood.

John Glover Leads The Jack Glover Memory Walk For Alzheimer's In Salisbury MD.
Hundreds of people showed up this morning to participate in a fundraiser for Alzheimer's. Stacy Sakai, (with puppy) and Katherine Amenta from 47 News also joined in this 2008 event.
Don't forget to show up at the Salisbury Armory at 1:30 today for the Soldiers returning from Iraq. There will be a massive Police Escort from the Md. State Police, Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, Delmar Police and the Salisbury Police Department.
UPDATE: They raised $41,000.00 this year for the walk. CONGRATULATIONS!
Will the Voter Fraud Uncovered in Ohio, Missouri and Eleven Other States Give Reason to Cancel the 2008 Elections?
As I reported about the Voter fraud that I personally witnessed last week while in Ohio. It has now become very apparent that I was not only correct in my supposition, but this is a far more reaching problem than any of us ever imagined.
Thirteen states are now reporting suspected voter fraud!
Illinois now has 105% of it's population registered to vote!
How at this point will the elections be conducted?
Once an absentee ballot is opened and the envelope is thrown away (which is customary) the return address is gone and the ballot is completely anonymous. How are these ballots to be counted?
Thirteen states with highly suspect ballots!
ACORN and the stupid little socialist who bought into their BS, then found that they really weren't enough college kids to register, turned to homeless people, and crackheads just to meet their quotas, have put this country into a very serious situation.
What do you the readers think should be done about the votes of these thirteen states?
Throw away all absentee ballots?
Change the rules right now and say if "If you are going to vote you must come to the polls on the 4th and no other ballots will be accepted"?
As you know I read a lot of different sided sights out there on the net and I have to say that more than once I have seen articles predicting that the 2008 elections will be cancelled.
I have always wondered what in the world could happen to be serious enough, catastrophic enough to cancel an election?
Financial Meltdown?
Threat of War?
Devastating Natural Disaster?
Massive Voter Fraud?
Looks like we have three out of my four major scenarios.
I'm going to go on the record as thinking that cancellation of the 2008 election is a very real possibility.
If they do negate the votes in these states we are going to have people protesting in the streets that their voices do not matter.
If they do allow the votes in these states to be counted the rest of the country is going to be marching in the streets saying that the election was rigged.
Does canceling the election throw us into a dictatorship?
The 'Continuity of Government' order was extended by the White House last summer (It is a clause that allows the President and the President alone to make all decisions regarding the running of our country COMPLETELY bypassing Congress).
Is this the reason troops have been deployed in the US for the first time since the Civil War?
The official statement is that they have been deployed for crowd control....
