Grover Cleveland , John F Kennedy Vice President Thomas Marshall, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon,Spiro Agnew Gerald Ford, Amelia Earhart , Fay Wray , Gary Cooper and Jack Dempsey. Plus many more too numerous to list.

Aldo Ray was here at the Blvd theater. Robert Mitchum frequented here as he had a home in near-by Cambridge.
Roberta Peters sang at STC, or whatever it's name was at the time.
Charles Curalt came every year to the Skipjack races in Deal Island and was very good friends with Walt James, father of a friend. Do not forget Jim Hoffa.
Oh, I have some memories... Thanks for "stirring the pot".
I remember standing with my mother when JFK rode down Main Street (now the Downtown Plaza).
Fidel Castro used to play baseball here.
George Washington slept near here!
John McCain flew over here -- and crashed on the Eastern Shore of Virginia -- in 1965. And it was reported in the Daily Times 43 years later!
Castro never played baseball here. Nor did he ever try out for a pro team in the United States.
My aunt dated George Herbert Walker Bush when he was stationed @ Chincoteague
