GOP CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE CALLS HOLOCAUST THE ‘BIGGEST, BLACKEST LIE IN HISTORY’

A congressional candidate in Illinois has called the Holocaust “the biggest, blackest lie in history.”

Arthur Jones, a 64-year-old insurance salesman from Lyons, Ill., is hoping to be the Republican candidate to run against Rep. Daniel Lipinski (D) and is making headlines with some shocking statements.

“This idea that six million Jews were killed in the Holocaust is the biggest, blackest lie in history,” Jones told CBS St. Louis. “There is no proof that the Holocaust took place in Europe against the Jews.”

“As far as I’m concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews,” Jones, a Vietnam War veteran, said according to the Oak Lawn Patch. “Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV. The more survivors, the more lies that are told.”

Senators Consider Repeal Of Old Income Tax Cut To Fill Budget Hole

A bill to roll back a 15-year-old income tax cut and raise all tax rates by a quarter of a percent (.25%) may be part of Senate strategy to avoid a “doomsday” budget of drastic cuts by generating $600 million in new revenue. The bill proposed by Sen. Roger Manno, D-Montgomery, repeals a 1997 income tax cut “that greatly contributed to the budget deficit of today,” Manno said.

Grandmother accused of running dehydrated 9-Year-Old Girl To Death Faces Capital Murder Charge

GADSDEN, Ala. -- A woman accused of running her 9-year-old granddaughter to death as punishment for eating chocolate was captured on a school bus videotape saying she planned to run the child "'til she can't run no more," a prosecutor told a judge Thursday in announcing capital murder charges.

Joyce Hardin Garrard, who faces a potential death penalty if convicted, made the comment to the driver of Savannah Hardin's bus, which was equipped with a surveillance system, said Marcus Reid, an assistant district attorney in Etowah County.

Angered by a supposed lie the child told the day before, Garrard told the driver: '"I gonna run her 'til she can't run no more,'" Reid said.

"That's exactly what she did," said the prosecutor, calling Garrard a "drill sergeant from hell."

U.S. Ambassador Doesn't Rule Out 'Proceedings' Against U.S. Troops Who Burned Qurans

(CNSNews.com) - The U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan has not ruled out military proceedings against U.S. troops involved in the disposal of Qurans by burning them.

"If there are to be proceedings, they are going to be U.S. proceedings under the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice) -- and I don't think there is any question or doubt on the part of the Afghan government that that is exactly how it's going to go," Ryan Crocker told Fox News Wednesday night.

Fox anchor Bret Baier had asked Crocker if Afghan President Hamid Karzai's call for a public trial had raised some eyebrows at the U.S. Embassy

As CNSNews.com reported, Karzai went on Afghan television and told his country he had discussed the Quran burning with "jihadi leaders," scholars and elected officials.

According to a BBC translation of his remarks, Karzai said: "Representing the Afghan nation and their pure sentiments, in fact the Islamic world, once again we call on the U.S. government to bring the perpetrators of the act to justice and put them on trial and punish them."

Breitbart: “Wait ‘Til They See What Happens March 1st”

In a stunning coincidence, It appears Andrew Breitbart suffered his untimely death just hours before he was set to release damning video footage that could have sunk Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

Around three weeks ago on February 9 during the ‘Blog Bash’ event in Washington DC, Breitbart made a prophetic comment that takes on a somewhat chilling nature given the fact that he died in the early hours of March 1st.

Speaking to Lawrence Sinclair of Sinclair News, Breitbart stated, “Wait til they see what happens March 1st.”

It’s almost certain that Breitbart was referring to his plan to release damning footage of President Obama that he had been promising to reveal throughout the month of February.

Breitbart spoke of his intention to release the tape during his CPAC speech last month. The footage shows Obama in his college days appearing alongside former Weather Underground terrorists Bill and Bernardine Dohrn. Observers had speculated that the footage could have derailed Obama’s hopes for a second term.

“I’ve got video from his college days that show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008 – the videos are going to come out,” said Breitbart, adding that Obama would be vetted.

Look in the Mirror!!

I saw this comment someone sent in. "God bless Sheriff Joe. He may be the man who saves our country." I agree he is a good conservative and a good Sheriff. But he is not the saviour of our country. In 1776 there was no single man responsible for creating this great nation and there is no single person capable of saving it now. Each and every person needs to get up right now and go to the mirror. Take a good hard look at the person staring back at you. You are looking at part of the salvation of this country. You can't do it all and neither can anyone else. Everyone must take steps to be sure that they can take care of themselves and their families. They have to make sure their family members possess the same set of life skills so that they can pass them to their families when that time comes. Yes YOU are the only person that can save this country but you have to actually take some action. The time for action is upon us and has been for some time. But better late than never. Get up! Get off you a$$. Get involved. Vote. Do something. Your other option is to be a sheep. Take what scraps the government throws you. Lick the hand that feeds you. Everyday the government takes away another freedom or infringes upon our liberties in some way. They tax every aspect of our lives. How much more will you take before you get up and act?

Your Hard Work Is Paying Off ... But We Cannot Quit Yet!

Due to the outcry of people like you and me it appears as though the O'Malley-Brown Gas Tax proposal is being taken off the table! Your letters, e-mails, phone calls and rallies have paid off and together we think we have defeated this outrageous tax..... for now.

Thanks to you and the realtors the highly controversial elimination of the mortgage tax deduction is now off the table too! I have said from the beginning that this deduction is one of the most important things to MD homeowners. Thanks to the Maryland Realtors and homeowners for your hard work in helping to most likely defeat this measure!

The O'Malley-Brown Administration is now looking for "new" taxes to impose. The current proposal is to raise $400 million dollars through an INCOME TAX INCREASE! Obviously the Governor didn't listen to us in January when 96% of Marylanders said they pay enough in taxes.

You can see our work is not done yet. We need to keep the pressure on the Governor that Marylanders are not OK with increased taxes of any type! I continue to advocate for cuts in the budget and will not support any new tax or fee on Marylanders.

DC Transit Authority Refuses to Pull ‘Go to Hell Barack’ Metro Ad, Says it‘s ’Protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution’

In a move its creator says was “designed to express the magnitude of anger over our move toward socialized medicine,” Independent filmmaker Logan Darrow Clements is standing by his decision to use the phrase, “Go to hell Barack” in a DC Metro advertisement for his movie Sick & Sicker. Not only that, but the DC-area transit agency is standing by the ad as well.

“I’m extremely upset the government is going to take over health care. I’m not mildly upset. I’m extremely upset,” Clements said.

An advertisement for Clements’ movie in the Clarendon Metro station states: “Barack Obama wants politicians and bureaucrats to control America’s entire medical system.”

It adds: “Go to hell Barack.”

Despite calls by Virginia Democrat Rep. Jim Moran on the Metro board to remove the ad, a Metro spokesman, citing case law, said the transit authority could not pull an ad based on its political content.

9/11 Commissioner And Co-Chair Of Congressional Inquiry Into 9/11 Say In Sworn Declarations That Saudi Government Linked To 9/11

The New York Times reports:

For more than a decade, questions have lingered about the possible role of the Saudi government in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, even as the royal kingdom has made itself a crucial counterterrorism partner in the eyes of American diplomats.

Now, in sworn statements that seem likely to reignite the debate, two former senators who were privy to top secret information on the Saudis’ activities say they believe that the Saudi government might have played a direct role in the terrorist attacks.

“I am convinced that there was a direct line between at least some of the terrorists who carried out the September 11th attacks and the government of Saudi Arabia,” former Senator Bob Graham, Democrat of Florida, said in an affidavit filed as part of a lawsuit brought against the Saudi government and dozens of institutions in the country by families of Sept. 11 victims and others. Mr. Graham led a joint 2002 Congressional inquiry into the attacks.

The Shot Heard Around The World, Well, Almost?

The Navy has started testing a gun that could shoot a round more than 100 miles. The super-powerful weapon is called an electromagnetic railgun. Testing is designed to see if the barrel could withstand the heat and stress of repeated firings, and if the shells hold up while traveling seven times the speed of sound. The Navy has spent $240 million developing the railgun. But it might be several more years before it's ready for mounting on ships. One contractor is General Atomics, maker of the Predator Drones.

Md. Senate Committee Considers Transgender Anti-Discrimination Bill

The gay marriage bill has been enacted in Maryland with Gov. Martin O'Malley's signature Thursday evening, but the next civil rights battle has only begun.

A Maryland Senate committee is considering an anti-discrimination bill for transgender people.

In Maryland certain laws prohibit discrimination, but transgender people don't have those protections. But by the end of this legislative session, that might change.

Dr. Dana Beyer, a retired eye surgeon from Chevy Chase, was raised as a man, but always felt like a woman. And like many transgender people she faced discrimination. Twenty years ago during a workplace lawsuit, she says a judge called her a pervert, and attorneys said she didn't deserve respect. She says she didn't get a fair trial.
