The day before a planned visit from President Donald Trump earlier this month, a technician swabbed Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine to test him for COVID-19. Within 15 minutes, a plus sign for a positive result appeared on the screen of a desktop device the size of a digital alarm clock.
Later that day, however, the Republican governor was tested using a laboratory analysis, which produced a negative result. DeWine’s high-profile testing error raised concerns about the reliability of so-called rapid result antigen tests. But the mishap did little to dampen enthusiasm for the cheap, fast and easy-to-use tests.

Six Individuals Rescued In Ocean By Commercial Fishing Vessel
OCEAN CITY — Six people were successfully pulled from the water last week after their vessel caught fire about three miles off the Ocean City coast.
Last Thursday, the U.S. Coast Guard Maryland-National Capital Region command center received notification via VHF channel 16 from the owner of the 54-foot cruiser yacht No Filter that a fire had broken out on board and all six occupants were abandoning ship. Several other boaters in the area had also contacted the Coast Guard command center that the boat had become engulfed in flames.
Coast Guard Sector Maryland-NCR issued an urgent marine broadcast and launched a 47-foot motor lifeboat crew from Coast Guard Station Ocean City to respond to the scene. Meanwhile, crewmembers from the commercial fishing vessel Smugglers Point arrived on the scene first after hearing the urgent marine broadcast and safely recovered all six individuals from the water.

Democratic Party takes aim at School Choice
Push to eliminate vouchers unsettles parents, especially low-income minorities
The Democratic Party's 2020 education platform includes the elimination of private school vouchers, which are popular with many parents—especially blacks and Latinos—amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In the official 2020 Democratic Party Platform, the party argues that private school vouchers "divert taxpayer-funded resources away from the public school system." Yet a poll commissioned by the American Federation for Children found that most voters—including 82 percent of Latinos and 68 percent of blacks—support using taxpayer dollars to send their children to a school that "best serves their needs," public or private. COVID-19 has exacerbated the divide between the Democratic platform and public opinion: In an August poll of Oklahoma parents, 63 percent said that they should be allowed to send their children, along with their tax dollars, to the school of their choice if public schools do not open.
The explicit call to eliminate vouchers goes further than the party's previous platforms. While the Democratic Party's official platform in 2012 supported strengthening public schools to lower the dropout rate of minority and low-income students, it did not attack private school vouchers, which 57 percent of Latinos and 69 percent of black Americans support, according to two polls.
School choice advocates have criticized the new platform, saying that it hurts those it is intended to help. Kayla Svedin, the founder of the school choice group Empowered Arizona Families, told the Washington Free Beacon that Democrats like vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris need to realize the importance of voucher programs.

University suspends 228 Students for Allegedly breaking Pandemic Guidelines
Ohio State University temporarily suspended 228 students recently who allegedly violated guidelines for social gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Students moved back to campus starting August 12. At the time, the university sent out a note telling students they must wear a mask, practice social distancing, and that gatherings could not include more than 10 people,” according to CNN.
In a letter Friday, Vice President of Student Life Melissa Shivers warned that the university’s student conduct team was working on opening dozens of cases that would “likely result in interim suspensions.”
Shivers added that student organizations involved in unsafe gatherings were in danger of losing their recognition and funding.
She continued:
Perhaps knowing about the action we are taking will influence your decisions and prompt you to encourage others to take this situation seriously. And remember that this is all about more than the individual. We have one shot at this — responding to what so many of you asked for: an on campus semester at Ohio State.
Student Dan Pitts said he received a suspension letter on Sat

NJ Gym that had license revoked by Dem. Gov. become GOP Campaign Spot
'Gov. Murphy turned this into a political chess game. And so what we said is 'checkmate, governor.''
The embattled New Jersey gym that had its business license revoked earlier this month after repeatedly defying Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy's COVID-19 shutdown order has made what appears to be a nifty strategic move in response.
Frank Trumbetti and Ian Smith, co-owners of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, have partnered with Republican U.S. Senate candidate Rik Mehta to turn the gym into an official campaign rally location, Fox News reported.
"We took a stand for our constitutional rights and for the rights of all small business owners throughout the country," Smith told "Fox & Friends Weekend" Sunday. "And it wasn't intended to become political. We were trying to offer a solution to a problem where the government was failing, and it turned political. And that was because of Gov. Murphy's actions. So now we made it political just as much as he has."

Hundreds of Thousands ordered to flee Gulf Coast ahead of Laura
The National Hurricane Center projected Laura would become a Category 3 hurricane before making landfall late Wednesday or early Thursday, with winds of around 115 mph (185 kph)
Hundreds of thousands of people were ordered to evacuate the Gulf Coast on Tuesday as Laura strengthened into a hurricane that forecasters said could slam into Texas and Louisiana as a major storm with ferocious winds and deadly flooding.
More than 385,000 residents were told to flee the Texas cities of Beaumont, Galveston and Port Arthur, and still more were ordered to evacuate low-lying southwestern Louisiana, where forecasters said as much as 13 feet (3.96 meters) of storm surge topped by waves could submerge entire communities.

A Closer Look At The States That Stayed Open
I’m sure we all remember that fateful month of March. One after another states began to issue lockdown orders, closing businesses, restricting travel, and ordering people to stay home.
That was the month when the United States went from viewing COVID-19 as a minimal threat to issuing some of the most draconian lockdown measures in the entire world.
Life changed almost immediately. The stock market plummets, the unemployment rate skyrockets, the masks get tighter, the social fabric frays. The government goes on an unprecedented power grab exerting more control over society more viciously and more arbitrarily than ever before.

That’s what many Americans may recall when we think back to late March and early April. What many of us probably don’t recall is what Dr. Anthony Fauci recommended around that same time. During the first week of April, Dr. Fauci made it clear that he believed that every state should issue a stay at home order.

Biden And Harris Own The Destruction In Kenosha
Last week during their national convention, Democrats had an opportunity to make clear to the nation that they do not tolerate the violence, rioting, and mayhem that has been spreading throughout the nation. Instead they cynically ignored it.
Speech after speech touted Joe Biden and the principles of his party as cities across the country suffered more arson, assaults and property destruction in the name of social justice. To steal a phrase from the left, their silence is violence and the violence is growing.

Hillary Clinton Tells Joe Biden Not To Accept The Election Results If He Loses
According to Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden will “eventually” win the 2020 election — or at least she believes so. In order for that to happen, however, Joe Biden must not accept the election results if things “drag out.” Specifically, Clinton thinks Biden “should not concede under any circumstances.”
“If it’s a close election — like say Biden ‘wins’ — what do you think Trump will do?” Jennifer Palmieri asked the former secretary of state and failed 2016 presidential candidate on an episode of Showtime’s “The Circus.”

Democrats Attack Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley Over Her Given Name
Democrats attacked former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley on Tuesday, accusing her of changing her name from “Nimrata” to avoid racial discrimination. These racist allegations were levied against Haley, a daughter of Indian immigrants, after she spoke at the Republican National Convention on Monday night, declaring that “America is not a racist country.”
South Asians for Biden was the first group to target Haley, claiming that she probably felt “compelled to change her name to ‘Nikki'” because the Republican Party is racist. The hashtag #PhonyNikki accompanied the tweet along with #BidenHarris2020.

Snyder: We Should Mourn For What Is Happening To America
This week it was Kenosha, Wisconsin and next week it will probably be somewhere else. Yet another senseless police shooting was followed by more rioting, looting and violence. Of course rioting, looting and violence have basically become a nightly occurrence in America at this point anyway. The protests never seem to end in some cities, and crime rates are absolutely skyrocketing all over the country. Much of what is written about all of this chaos is focused on trying to pin the blame on someone, but even if we correctly identify who is to blame, will that actually stop the violence? I don’t believe that it would. In fact, I don’t think that anything is going to stop the violence any time soon.
I just feel so sad today. We are literally watching the meltdown of our society, and that process is going to continue no matter what happens in November. I have never seen so much anger in America, and the frightening thing is that the level of anger seems to just keep growing.
I wish that we could learn to truly forgive one another, love one another and come together as a society. For years I have been telling my readers that civil unrest like this was coming, and there is an entire chapter in my new book entitled “Civil Unrest and Martial Law”. So many of the things that myself and others have been warning about are now playing out right in front of our eyes, but there is absolutely no joy in being correct. There is only sadness. I love the United States of America and what I see happening to our nation grieves me very deeply.
Whenever I write articles about our need to love one another, those articles tend not to get much attention at all. In America today, we would much rather hate our enemies than love them. The corporate media has trained us to hate those “on the other side”, and they have done that job very well. They have been stirring the pot for years, and now much of the population has been perfectly primed to explode.
In such an environment, it was inevitable that there would eventually be eruptions of violence. On Sunday night, it was Kenosha’s turn…
Armed rioters shut down streets in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Sunday night as the city fell into chaos after a police-involved shooting earlier in the evening.
A large group of rioters – including at least two armed rioters – blocked a police armored car from proceeding down a street. After a standoff, the police began throwing tear gas canisters from the top of the vehicle to disperse the crowd. Moments later, gunshots rang out after one of the protesters appeared to open fire.
The police shooting that caused these riots only happened a few hours earlier.
That means that some of these rioters were already armed and were ready to cause chaos on very little notice.

RNC: Football Great Herschel Walker Has Word for People Who Call Trump a Racist
One of the more moving speeches on the first night of the Republican National Convention was by retired football great Herschel Walker, who talked about his friendship with President Trump.
Walker was on the roster when Trump bought the USFL team the New Jersey Generals back in the early 1980s. The league folded in 1986 and Walker moved on to the NFL. They’ve had a “deep, personal” friendship for nearly four decades.
Walker tried to sum up the friendship in three minutes and he did a pretty good job. See the video of his speech below.
I’m not an actor, a singer, or a politician. I’m Herschel Walker. Most of you know me as a football player, but I’m also a father, a man of faith, and a very good judge of character. I’ve known Donald Trump for 37 years. I don’t mean just casual, ran into him from time to time. I’m talking about a deep, personal friendship.
Walker Watched Trump Treat Everyone Like a VIP
Walker said he watched Trump interact with people from the boardroom to the broom closet and said his friend impressed him by how he treated the little guy.
I watched him treat janitors, security guards, and waiters the same way you would treat a VIP. He made them feel special because he knew they were. He understands that they are the people who make this country run. They clean, they cook, they build, they drive, they deliver. He told me, “Herschel, make an effort to get to know people. Remember their names.” That stuck with me.

The Republican Party of Bush, McCain and Romney is Dead
The Democratic Party propaganda machine, more commonly known as the mainstream media, has been gushing over the establishment Republicans who appeared at the Democratic National Convention to denounce President Trump and endorse Joe Biden, but as last night’s Republican National Convention showed, the days of the Republican Party being a pale shadow of the Democrats are over. In 2020, as in 2016 but not for a considerable period before that, we actually have a choice, not an echo, as Barry Goldwater offered America way back in 1964.
As Rating America’s Presidents: An America-First Look at Who Is Best, Who Is Overrated, and Who Was An Absolute Disaster demonstrates, the United States has been under the control of what is essentially a one-party system in two factions since at least the early 1950s. One of the most damaging aspects of the presidency of Dwight D. Eisenhower, the first Republican president since the onset of the Great Depression, was his refusal to challenge the basic premises of the New Deal. That’s how we got into this fix.
The Eisenhower administration was generally a period of great prosperity. However, after twenty years of New Deal expansion of the government, it was widely expected by observers from both parties that Eisenhower would at least attempt to fight the leviathan and diminish the gargantuan and ever-growing federal government. Instead, he did little to halt the expansion of federal power. He resisted numerous measures that would have repealed or rolled back New Deal programs. He was determinedly bipartisan, going along with numerous Democratic initiatives, even when they involved the centralization that he warned against. In 1954, he stated his guiding philosophy: “I have just one purpose, outside of the job of keeping this world in peace…and that is to build up a strong progressive Republican Party in this country. If the right wing wants a fight, they are going to get it. If they want to leave the Republican Party and form a third party, that’s their business, but before I end up, either this Republican Party will reflect progressivism or I won’t be with them anymore.”

Trump Administration Announces Additional $1 billion for the Farmers to Families Food Box Program
Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced up to an additional $1 billion for the Farmers to Families Food Box Program. The additional funding allows the program to continue critical support to farmers, distributors, and American families in need. The Farmers to Families Food Box program has provided over 70 million boxes to hungry Americans across the country.
“I’m so proud of the people of USDA for designing this program in record time. With this additional up to $1 billion in funding, the Farmers to Families Food Box Program will continue to save countless jobs, support our farmers and move food to where it’s needed most,” said Secretary Perdue. “As the President said, when a food box is delivered to a family, we show them that in this country no one is forgotten.”
Today, in a Fayetteville Observer op-ed, Advisor to the President Ivanka Trump said, “As we work to achieve the Great American Comeback, The President and his Administration have stabilized our American food supply chain and protected our Nation’s families, farmers and ranchers…We are proud of the profound effect the Farmers to Families Food Box Program has had by keeping our farmers in business, empowering the food distribution industry workforce, and providing for those most in need.”

19 yr. old Kansas Democrat linked to 'revenge porn' now says he'll stay in state House election
A 19-year-old Kansas Democrat running for a seat in the state House -- who said Sunday he would drop out of the race after admitting to a "revenge porn" incident when he was in middle school and to harassing others on social media -- reversed course Tuesday, saying he plans to stay in the race.
Aaron Coleman wrote that since he announced he was dropping out of the race, “I have heard from many of the people who voted for me urging me not to drop out. They said they did not vote for me expecting that I was a perfect person.”
In June, Coleman acknowledged that when he was 14 he made good on a threat to share a nude photo of a girl after attempting to force her to send him more nude photos. He also admitted to harassing other girls online.

Avoid The Trap The System Is Setting To Ensnare You
One Step Removed
Millions of people are about to enter a financial purgatory, becoming little more than modern-day slaves.
While they’ll be reported by the media as those “evicted” or “foreclosed on”, if we define a slave as someone forced to work for another by existing legal circumstances or approved cultural norms, then that’s exactly what these people should actually be called: slaves.
Too harsh?
Allow me to make my case.
Being ‘One Step Removed’ Is All Evil Needs
Slavery can exist when there’s a system that allows it. It’s a combination of morals (or, rather, lack thereof) and laws that allow one human to control the daily actions of another. Neither a slave’s time nor personal freedom belong to them.
I learned a long time ago that most humans, at best, have what we might call ‘shallow’ morals. There are chemical engineers who would never dump a toxin directly into a child’s cereal bowl, because that would be immoral; but they’ll casually and routinely inject toxins into groundwater tables (which may eventually end up in the local milk supply) because they have an EPA permit to do so.

Wicomico County’s Good Beer and Autumn Wine festivals postponed to spring 2021
SALISBURY, Md. – Wicomico County officials have made the difficult decision to postpone the Good Beer and Autumn Wine festivals, originally scheduled for Oct. 9-10 and Oct. 17-18, respectively.
The decision to postpone amid the COVID-19 pandemic was made after careful consideration by the Recreation, Parks & Tourism department, in coordination with the Wicomico County Health Department and Department of Emergency Services.
“Postponing these events was not a decision we made lightly,” said Cole Lacey, assistant manager of Wicomico County’s tourism division. “We know the Good Beer and Autumn Wine festivals are fall traditions for many people, but we had to prioritize the health and safety of attendees.”
The events have been shifted to the spring, with the Autumn Wine Festival scheduled for April 24-25, followed by the Good Beer Festival, April 30-May 1.
Event organizers will continue to monitor COVID-19 in the coming months and reevaluate the situation with the Wicomico County Health Department and Department of Emergency Services prior to putting tickets on sale in late winter.
Good Beer Festival organizers have pivoted their efforts to develop a new beer-focused event dubbed Good Beer, Good Bites, which will take place inside at the Wicomico Civic Center on Saturday, Oct. 3. This intimate seated tasting experience will feature three flights of craft beer, dinner, live music and tabletop games.
“We are excited to offer an event to fill the void the Good Beer Festival will leave behind this fall,” said Program Director Jamie Nichols. “We are working hand-in-hand with Civic Center staff to plan an enjoyable and safe evening for attendees.”
Prior to reopening in June, the Civic Center implemented new health and safety protocols, including physical distancing, entry screenings, cleaning and disinfecting, hand sanitizer stations, designated restrooms, and enhanced protocols for meal service.
Tickets for Good Beer, Good Bites will be sold by tables of four for $200, with the option to add up to two additional seats for $50 per person. Tickets are slated to go on sale Friday, Aug. 28. The event is limited to 200 attendees. For more information about this event, visit www.WicomicoCivicCenter.org.

Postmaster General Rips Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier, Tells Her To Educate Herself In Awkward Moment
During a live congressional testimony before House lawmakers Monday, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy told California Democratic Congresswoman Jackie Speier to educate herself on a common stock practice before accusing the senior administration official of impropriety.
“In your statement of financial disclosure, you sold your Amazon stock on June 22, I believe, and then you purchased options on Amazon on June 24. That would suggest to almost anyone that there’s a conflict of interest. It doesn’t require that you make a decision. It only requires that you participate,” Speier said. “Did you check with the government office of ethics to see if that was appropriate?”

The NBA’s Definition Of Racism Is Racist
According to critical race theory, which the NBA has endorsed hook, line, and sinker, racism against white people is impossible.
The National Basketball Association hates racism. They are very clear about this. In the playoffs being played in the bubble in Orlando, “Black Lives Matter” is emblazoned not just on the shirts players wear but on the court itself.
So when the Los Angeles Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell clearly called Dallas Maverick Luka Doncic a “bitch ass white boy” during a recent game, it should be obvious what the NBA reaction would be: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Larger Wind Turbine Plans Allowed To Proceed; Project Developer Required To Improve Communication With OC
OCEAN CITY — The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) last week issued an order approving Ørsted’s use of the 12-megawatt turbines for its Skipjack offshore wind project despite Ocean City’s concerns on the visual impact off the resort coast.
In the order, the PSC also admonished the parent company Ørsted for not reaching out to stakeholders, including Ocean City, on the change in turbine height, however. Skipjack’s original proposal included the use of eight-megawatt turbines, but last year Ørsted announced it was going with the GE Haliade-X 12-megawatt turbines deemed the largest commercially-available wind turbines in the world.
In June, the PSC held an evidentiary hearing on the proposed change in wind turbine size for Ørsted’s Skipjack project off the coast of Ocean City. The evidentiary hearing was called when Skipjack announced its intention to switch from the previously proposed eight-megawatt turbines to the much larger 12-megawatt turbine, now believed to be the largest commercial wind turbine available.
When Skipjack moved to the 12-megawatt turbine, the town of Ocean City, which, from the beginning has not objected to the project, but only wanted the turbines to be sited at a distance where they would not be visible from the shore, urged the PSC to hold an evidentiary hearing on the proposed turbine change. After a well-attended public hearing in Ocean City in January, the PSC agreed to hold the evidentiary hearing and it took place in early June.

School Board Answers County Council’s Questions On Reopening Plans
SALISBURY – Questions about student instruction, teacher accountability and school bus contractors highlighted a discussion between county leaders and school board officials last week.
In a meeting of the Wicomico County Council last week, members of the Wicomico County Board of Education met with county leaders to answer questions surrounding the school system’s recovery plan for the coming academic year.
“This plan has been finalized,” Superintendent Donna Hanlin said, “but we do consider it a working document and we will tweak things as we move along.”
Earlier this month, Hanlin presented the school system’s recovery plan for the academic year, which will start virtually this fall. While the school system will focus on remote learning for the first semester, Hanlin made it clear to the county council last week she hoped to reintroduce larger groups of students into buildings by October.

"The General Public Gets It": Sheila Bair Blasts Fed For Creating Income Inequality, Slams Politicians For Keeping Silent
Since its inception, this website has preached that at the root of all evil in US - and frankly any other society which prints its own currency - is the central bank. Month after month, year after year, we have warned that the Fed, which Thomas Jefferson among the founding fathers prophetically warned against in a warning that carried all the way until 1913 when, following a secret meeting at the aptly named Jekyll Island, the Fed was sprung into existence, just in time for the first World War.
And while superficially the charter of the Fed - which to this day remains a fully private institution unlike most of its peers...
... has operated under the superficially noble mandate to "promote effectively the goals of maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long term interest rates", yet by constantly prompting a inflationary mandate and debasing the dollar, has spawned a series of boom-bust cycles, which have resulted in an unprecedented wealth (and income) divide, with a handful of people owning the vast majority of financial assets, while the rest of the population - including the vast majority of the middle class - has seen its purchasing power decline year after year.

Jerry Falwell Jr. confirms he has resigned as President of Liberty U after pool boy said the evangelist watched him have sex with his wife several times a year
Jerry Falwell Jr. confirmed on Monday night that he had resigned from evangelical Liberty University - ending a bizarre episode in which he was said to have quit, and then denied it.
Falwell told ABC that his resignation was official, and he was stepping down as chancellor of the Lynchburg, Virginia-based Christian school, after a pool boy claimed the evangelist watched while he had sex with his wife.
A senior school official earlier on Monday night said he had resigned from his leadership post, but Falwell then told several news outlets that he does not plan to leave permanently.
A school official confirmed on Monday - the first day of classes for students - that Falwell had agreed to resign, The Washington Post reported.
Falwell then said the reports of his resignation were 'completely false'.
'I have not resigned. I will be on indefinite leave,' Falwell later told POLITICO.

Texas A&M Prof, NASA Researcher Arrested For Alleged China Ties
Texas A&M professor and NASA researcher Zhengdong Cheng was arrested Sunday for alleged conspiracy, false statements, and wire fraud.
According to a United States Department of Justice press release, Cheng allegedly “willfully took steps to obscure his affiliations and collaboration with a Chinese University and at least one Chinese-owned company.”
Cheng’s research grant barred him from collaborating with Chinese entities.
Cheng allegedly provided false information to Texas A&M and NASA, allowing him to receive federal funds for a research grant. Cheng is associated with Guangdong University of Technology in China and other foreign institutions of higher education. He gained access to what the DOJ called “increased access to unique NASA resources, such as the International Space Station,”resulting in better positioning at Guangdong and other universities.
Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers explained that “Once again, we have witnessed the criminal consequences that can arise from undisclosed participation in the Chinese government’s talent program.” He said the Department of Justice will work to “expose the exploitation of our nation and our prized research institutions."
Alan Kohler, assistant director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, said that Cheng allegedly “knowingly deceived NASA officials about his association with Chinese owned companies and universities, willingly accepted U.S. government funding, and defrauded his university.”
FBI Houston Special Agent Perrye Turner stated that Texas A&M has provided “significant assistance through their partnership with us throughout this case.”
"We worked closely with the FBI on this case, and we gladly will work with them again as needed,” Texas A&M System Chancellor John Sharp said in a statement Monday.
“No one in higher education takes security as seriously as we do at The Texas A&M University System. In fact, we have received several awards from the Department of Defense’s Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, including one just last month.”

Democrats are pretending the cities aren’t burning
The Democratic convention portrayed an America suffering from every possible sort of malady — except urban unrest.
Is the country going through a terrible pandemic? Yes. A punishing recession? Absolutely. Is our democratic system itself under threat? Of course. Is the planet about to be destroyed by inaction on climate change? Check. Are systemic racism, income inequality and corporate greed blighting our national life? Most definitely.
The Democrats put an accent on every disturbing development during the Trump years, but not on the disorder that has caused countless millions in property damage, killed and injured innocent people and contributed to rising lawlessness in cities around the country.
About that, they maintained a discreet silence.
Across four nights and eight hours of programming, no one mentioned it — not the community activists, not the mayors or governors, not the former presidents and first ladies, and emphatically not the party’s current nominees for president and vice president.

A Demagogue Named Barack Obama: His DNC Speech
On the day Barack Obama was inaugurated in January 2009, I announced on my national radio show that, "While I did not vote for Barack Obama, he is my president, and I wish him well." I added that I was delighted a black man had been elected president of the United States, that perhaps this would not only help black-white relations get even better than they were but also help put to rest the notion of a racist America.
As it turned out, neither hope was achieved. In fact, in large measure due to Obama, race relations deteriorated during his presidency. Obama turned out to be Black Lives Matter Light. As Politico wrote in 2014, Al Sharpton, perhaps the most consistent race-baiter of the last half-century, "became Obama's go-to man on race." According to The Washington Post, Sharpton visited the Obama White House 72 times.
Obama is idolized by liberals and leftists because he was an activist liberal whose goal, in his own words, right before he was first elected, was "fundamentally transforming the United States of America." And because they love his cool, even-tempered, regal style.
That style masks a demagoguery that far surpasses our current president. It was on display last week when he spoke at the Democratic National Convention.

“Biggest Scandal in Europe since WW II” - Ibizagate: How Soros Journalists Brought Down the Austrian Government
A year ago, a leaked video seeming to show the head of the right-wing Austrian Freedom Party Heinz Christian Strache conspiring with Russians to take over the top local tabloid brought down the center-right government. In the court case, video has emerged exonerating Strache and his colleague Johann Gudenus. Apparently, the Soros-related “journalists” who broke the story deliberately omitted the exonerating parts.
It was a set-up straight out of the 1970s “Mission Impossible” series: In 2016-17, the right-wing Austrian Freedom Party was leading the polls in Austria on the back of their opposition to Angela Merkel’s illegal Open Borders policy for all of Europe. In a scenario echoing the Fusion GPS “Trump Tower Meeting”, charismatic party head Strache and the equally popular Ex-Youth Wing head Gudenus were lured to a villa on the trendy island of Ibiza, Spain with Gudenus’ wife to meet with the alleged niece of a Russian oligarch going by the name of Alyona Makarova, who was promising investments in Austrian media in return for lucrative government contracts. “Makarova” has since disappeared and is wanted for questioning by Austrian police.

Illegal Immigrants Deserve More From the Government, Some Democratic Candidates for Massachusetts Fourth Congressional District Say
Should political candidates promise to do things for illegal immigrants?
Some of the Democrats running for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in Massachusetts’s Fourth district think so.
During an online forum, the moderators asked three candidates about what they would do for illegal immigrants.
It was a user-submitted question from someone in Fairhaven that stated: “COVID-19 has presented unique challenges for undocumented individuals and their family members. How will you support them during the pandemic and beyond?”
All three candidates seeking to replace U.S. Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III said the federal government needs to do more for illegal immigrants.
For democratic socialist, former Wall Street regulator, and Brookline resident Ihssane Leckey, that would mean free health care and money during the coronavirus pandemic.
“One thing I think we need to usher in immediately is $2,000 a month for every individual in our country,” Leckey said during the event, called South Coast Debate and hosted by Students of MA-04 on Friday, August 21. “This is a way that they can live a life with dignity, put food on the table while we clean up the mess of COVID-19, and move on to recover our economy. But look, I fight for Medicare-for-All and a Green New Deal for these reasons. As somebody who has lived in poverty, I understand their hurt, and as an immigrant, I understand their hurt. I will be fighting very, very hard for them in Congress.”

The Coronavirus will never end...test will never stop reporting 'fake' cases
If mask mandates are justified by people “testing positive” for coronavirus, they will NEVER end… because the tests will never stop reporting fake “cases”
(Natural News) We now have proof that the medical fascists intend to never end the mask mandates, lockdowns and forced quarantine camps that they claim are necessary due to covid-19. All those Orwellian measures are being justified by coronavirus “cases” stemming solely from people “testing positive” for the coronavirus. But these tests are largely flawed and produce disturbingly high numbers of false positives. Even when the tests are accurate in terms of a genetic match for the virus, if a person isn’t sick with symptoms, then it’s not a “case” to begin with.
I explain why merely carrying a virus without symptoms of sickness is not a “case” in this important medical science article, which is, of course, banned by Facebook, Google and Twitter.
These positive “cases” are now being used to push global pandemic hysteria, falsely claiming the pandemic is out of control and using that fear to justify endless mask mandates, lockdowns and — soon — vaccine mandates.
By definition, this means the plandemic will never end because there will never be a time when people stop “testing positive” for the gene sequences that are said to belong to the coronavirus.
And that’s by design.

CDC drops 14 day Self Quarantine Recommendation for out state travelers
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Friday dropped its recommendation for travelers to quarantine for 14 days upon returning from trips overseas or out of state during the coronavirus pandemic.
The CDC updated its guidelines on its website. Though the two-week recommendation was changed, the federal agency did caution travelers that they can still contract the novel coronavirus while traveling.
“You may feel well and not have any symptoms, but you can still spread COVID-19 to others," the agency warns. "You and your travel companions (including children) may spread COVID-19 to other people including your family, friends, and community for 14 days after you were exposed to the virus.”
The CDC recommends travelers wear masks indoors, wash hands, maintain social distancing guidelines, and monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19.

The Morning Briefing: RNC Night 1 Is A Stark Contrast to DNC's Low-T Zoom Meeting
The Republican National Convention (RNC) got its weird COVID-year counter-punch to last week’s DNC underway on Monday night. There was a lot of anticipation about how the RNC might handle things differently after the sleepwalking affair that the DNC put on last week.
Forget what the water-carrying media hacks have been saying about the DNC, it was a low-energy hot mess that was plain for all to see.
I wondered aloud several times last week if those producing the RNC were being quiet about their plans because they were watching the DNC to see what not to do. Thankfully, it appears that was the case.
Tyler has a recap of the first night here.
Yeah, I’m a homer, so I was going to like the RNC more than I did the DNC anyway, or at least make it seem like I did for the public. My remarks this morning are rather genuine though.
It happens.

Yeah, I’m a homer, so I was going to like the RNC more than I did the DNC anyway, or at least make it seem like I did for the public. My remarks this morning are rather genuine though.
It happens.

Beloved ‘Centro Maria’ Women’s Home to Shut as Allies Blame Church’s CVA Lawsuits
For decades, young women from all over the world looking for a safe, affordable place to live in New York found a home at Centro Maria.
The large boarding house on West 54th Street — one of the last women-only homes in Manhattan — took in tenants for a few hundred dollars a month, which included two meals a day prepared by the Catholic nuns who operate and live in the residence.
Because of the Sisters of Mary Immaculate, current and former residents say the house is much more than just a place to stay — it has been a safe haven and a launch pad for new friendships and careers.
“The bond that you create in that house is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced — ever, ever,” said B.C.E., a previous resident who moved to Centro Maria in 2007 to escape an abusive relationship and didn’t want her full name used. “It’s your family.”

Coronavirus relief bills loaded with special interest, pet project spending
Pork is dead. Long live pork!
Congressional earmarks might technically be extinct, but lawmakers are still finding ways to gently steer money to their pet programs in the massive spending packages moving through Congress.
While lawmakers say money to fight COVID-19 is the overarching priority in spending debates, Congressisn’t above leveraging the coronavirus pandemic to secure extra money for their home districts or other special interests.
“They are going to, in many cases, take every opportunity to shove the cash to their favorite interests,” said Steve Ellis, president of Taxpayers for Common Sense. “In many cases, lawmakers know where the earmarks would have been, and they’ve plussed-up certain accounts or certain projects that would then likely benefit the special interests that are in their district or are supporting them.”
Earmarks are line items tucked into bills to carve out spending for projects, such as building roads or military weapons systems, at the insistence of a particular lawmaker or two.

Back to College, Back to Academic Brainwashing
Parents, legislators, taxpayers, and others footing the bill for college education might be interested in just what is in store for the upcoming academic year.
Since many college classes will be online, there is a chance to witness professors indoctrinating their students in real time. So, there’s a chance thatsome college faculty might change their behavior. To see recent examples of campus nonsense and indoctrination, visit the Campus Reform and College Fixwebsites.
Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, warned congressional lawmakers “that Antifa is ‘winning’ and that much of academia, whether wittingly or unwittingly, is complicit in its success,” reported Campus Reform.
In his testimony before Congress Turley said:
To Antifa, people like me are the personification of the classical liberal view of free speech that perpetuates a system of oppression and abuse. I wish I could say that my view remains strongly implanted in our higher educational institutions. However, you are more likely to find public supporters for restricting free speech than you are to find defenders of free speech principles on many campuses.

Governor Hogan Orders Audit of Maryland Environmental Service, Calls for Bipartisan Legislative Reforms
ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today issued the following statement:
“It has recently come to light that the Maryland Environmental Service has a longstanding practice of paying large bonuses, expense reimbursements, and severance packages to its top executives. This is something no normal state-operated agency should or would ever grant.
“To be clear, I did not approve, recommend, or have any involvement whatsoever in any of these decisions made by the board of directors of MES with respect to the former director Roy McGrath or any other individual.
“The new acting director Charles Glass, who has been leading MES since June, has committed to conducting a top-to-bottom review of this entity’s operations, and has already taken steps to begin to address many of these structural problems.
“While it is the legislature's responsibility to do audits of MES, today I have directed the Department of Budget and Management to also immediately conduct its own audit of this independent agency.
“The current operating and oversight structure of MES was established by the General Assembly in 1993. Our intention is to work with the legislature in a bipartisan way on legislation to reform the governance and operations of MES in order to provide for stronger oversight by both the executive and legislative branches.”

Quite Frankly The City of Salisbury AND Wicomico County Makes Me Sick
When I sit back and think about all the abuse and attacks President Trump receives on a daily basis, then think about the fact that this patriot donates his entire salary to pay it forward, that's an AMERICAN!
Like our great President we watched four people step up to the plate to fill in as County Executive after Bob Culver's death. Joe Holloway had to walk away from the opportunity because they couldn't advance any council member to a higher position, just plain stupid.
Then this Doctor steps up and refuses to give up his practice. Instead of disqualifying him, someone came out with an alleged affair and pressured him to walk away from the job. You know what, he too is a pansy ass and I for one am very glad to see him run away with his tail between his legs.
So now we have Michele Ennis and Carl Anderton left. We can all argue who's the better qualified candidate BUT WAIT!!! Now the Council, (Idiots) want to open the door again for 45 days in the hope they can encourage yet another Good Ol' Boy because Mike Dunn, the Greater Salisbury Committee started screaming like a little baby along with Jake Day's Father.
This Council knows Michele Ennis is more then qualified but like my original article about her stated, they refuse to have a woman, ANY woman have a more powerful position. They're Idiots! They'd rather hire some jackass Dr. that has never handled budgets, grants, the whole nine yards because they're scared of a woman.
Like our great President, Michele would be taking a pay cut because she loves this County where she was born and raised her entire life. 18 years of dedicated service to the County and not one council member nominated her for the position.
You people should ring the phones off the hook demanding they stop this ridiculous and childish behavior and choose between these qualified candidates and make a final decision. The next step is to encourage a completely new group of people interested in running for county council positions and run every one of these bums out of office. If you can't CLEARLY see the games they're playing then you are as blind as a bat. There are no DO OVER's in real life!
Remember, this position comes up for election in a year and a half. We have a process for a reason, yet this council continues to buck that system/process on a very regular basis. Enough is enough!

“He Was Not Very Smart Before He Became Incapacitated. He Was Always Kinda Dumb. Now He’s Clearly Cognitively Impaired.” – Rudy Giuliani on Joe Biden’s Alzheimer’s
Judge Jeanine spoke about how ‘Bunker Biden’ ignored the violence going on in city streets around the nation at the recent DNC. She invited former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani on to discuss.
Rudy shared that Biden paid no attention to the Democrat cities that are up in flames which shows Biden has no intention of fixing it. He also shared that when you don’t deal with small amounts of violence in cities, the violence becomes greater. This is why Democrat cities are in such danger.
Then Rudy mentioned Democrat candidate Joe Biden’s physical and mental decline. (Note that we provided evidence from a review of videos of Biden using AI that indicate Biden’s cognitive decline and possible early stages of Alzheimer’s yesterday as well.) Rudy shared:
He was not very smart before he became incapacitated. He was always kinda dumb. Now he’s clearly cognitively impaired. I have a podcast out right now with two prominent doctors that say that it is clear that he has something beyond a mild case of either Alzheimer’s or some other form of dementia.”

Ravens cut Earl Thomas after he punched teammate at practice
Well, that happened fast.
Earl Thomas’ time in Baltimore is over.
The seven-time Pro Bowl safety was cut by the Ravens on Sunday in the wake of his practice scuffle with fellow safety Chuck Clark on Friday in which he reportedly punched Clark. The Cowboys, who sought former Jets safety Jamal Adams, are the favorite to land him, according to ESPN. The Ravens said the reason for Thomas’ release was “for personal conduct that has adversely affected the Baltimore Ravens,” meaning they’re likely to pursue recouping money on Thomas’ four-year, $55 million contract.
“I appreciate the Ravens organization for the opportunity. Had a great run,” Thomas wrote on his Instagram story after being released. “Wish things would have ended different but you live and you learn. Thank you Eric DeCosta and everyone else who played a role in bringing me to B-More. Wish you guys the best.”
The Ravens players’ “Leadership Council made it clear to decision makers they would prefer Thomas not be around,” according to CBS. While Thomas, 31, was in the second year of the contract.
Thomas attempted to clear the air by posting the clip of the play on Instagram and addressing it in a statement. He wrote that he committed a mental error and was trying to calmly explain to Clark what happened when “built up aggression turned into me getting into with a teammate.”

Left-Wing Protesters Intimidate Diners in Charlotte: ‘White Silence Equals Violence’
Boisterous left-wing protesters demonstrating against the Republican National Convention (RNC) intimidated diners at a Charlotte, North Carolina, restaurant Saturday night while they clogged up the streets.
Protesters engaged with a man leaving a restaurant in Charlotte’s South End neighborhood around 11:00 p.m., and called him a “gentrifier,” theCharlotte Observer reported.
Demonstrators in the South End, marching in their second night against the RNC to protest police brutality and neighborhood gentrification, yelled, “White Silence Equals Violence.”
A person in the crowd also appeared to spray silly string at someone appearing to confront the protesters.
The protesters also shouted, “the blood of Breonna Taylor,” referencing the March 13 death of Breonna Taylor, 26, at the hands of the police when officers searched her home for illegal drugs.

More DNC Woes: New Poll Shows Major Drop in Democratic Party Affiliation
A new poll released Monday from Gallup showed that the four days of virtual speeches and minimal fanfare produced by the Democratic National Convention did little to shore up support for the party of Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris.
In fact, despite the glowing reviews from corporate media of the DNC and its speakers, the Gallup poll showed that Americans claiming to be Democrats or affiliated with the party dropped by two points since the same poll was conducted in June. Enthusiasm for the Republican Party, however, increased by three points, shrinking the Democratic advantage by a stunning five points as the presidential election draws ever closer.
The new poll follows a trend in national polling that has shown a dramatic narrowing of the gap between the Democrats' nominee Joe Biden and President Donald Trump, after months of numbers reflecting Biden as the clear leader. Rasmussen reported on Monday that recent polling also showed the nation's approval of the president was on the rise, sharing that 51 percent of respondentsapproved of the job he was doing.
The favorable shifting in polling for the president comes amid months of unrest that has included widespread calls from the far-left to defund and abolish police departments, abolish ICE, and abolish prisons across the country.

Comey: 'I can't imagine that I'm a target' of Durham probe
Former FBI Director James Comey spoke dismissively of Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham's investigation of the origins of the bureau's Russia probe Sunday, saying he has not been contacted for it and that it is being used as a political tool for President Trump and his supporters.
In an interview that aired Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation," Comey insisted that everyone involved in the investigation was "trying to do the right thing" and therefore Durham's probe was not concerning for him.
"I have had no contact with him and haven’t talked to him," Comey said about Durham, adding, “I can’t imagine that I’m a target.”
