Michelle stayed put in her seaside villa from which she chides us for, among other things, not taking the global warming hoax’s rising ocean threat seriously. And Kamala failed to get that box of “special” chocolates past Oldfinger’s latest food taster.
Luckily, for the Democrats, Gropey J’s speech was the greatest speech in the history of speeching, according to reliable and objective mainstream media sources whose collective reaction to the teleprompter opus collectively evoked the sin of Onan. After all, he only plagiarizes from the best. That B-Dawg managed to read from a teleprompter without drooling and concluding by yelling “Come on, fat!” was a kind of achievement, just not the impressive kind.
But that did not stop the MSNBCNN pogue’s gallery of smart people of smartness from hailing him as Cicero reborn, though Cicero ended up with his head and hands nailed to the rostra. While the 25thAmendment is a somewhat less severe fate, though the savvy observer would put nothing past his scheming sidekick, it’s his best-case scenario.

Hawley: ‘Democrats Are Just Trying to Weaponize the Postal Service’
During an interview with Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” on Monday, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) reacted to the House of Representatives passage of a U.S. Postal Service bill that if passed would place restrictions on changes made to mail delivery protocol and give the USPS an additional $25 billion in funding.
Hawley called the gesture and effort to “weaponize” the USPS.
“What’s happening here is the Democrats are just trying to weaponize the postal service, Brian,” he said. “I mean, that’s all there is to it. We had a hearing – the Senate had a hearing on Friday in the Homeland Security Committee that I sit on with the Postmaster. He said they’ve got the money. They’ve got the manpower. They’ve got the resources to deliver the mail safely and on time through the election.”
“The Postmaster has already said he won’t implement any reforms or measures that will slow down the mail between now and November,” Hawley continued. “And what they need – what the post office needs is long-term reform, but the Democrats aren’t interested in any of that. This is all an attempt to attack the president, to weaponize the postal service, and we just can’t allow it.”
The Missouri lawmaker reminded viewers Postmaster General Louis DeJoy was not a political appointee, and he questioned the political dynamic that exists within the postal service workers’ union.

72 Percent of Detroit's Absentee Voting count don't match
Detroit election officials say that 72 percent of absentee ballot precincts recorded totals that didn’t match the actual number of votes. Wayne County, the state’s largest county, is calling for an official investigation.
The Wayne County Board of Canvassers is asking Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to look at “training and processes” used in the August 4 primary that one official called “a perfect storm” of challenges, according to the Detroit News.
In 46% of all Detroit’s precincts — absentee and Election Day — vote counts were out of balance, according to information presented Tuesday to the Wayne County Board of Canvassers. Specifically, the number of ballots tracked in precinct poll books did not match the number of ballots counted.The situation could amplify the spotlight on absentee ballots in Michigan ahead of an election for which record levels of mail-in voting are expected and President Donald Trump is already raising concerns about how votes will be handled.

When Gina Serna set out to control Pablo Escobar’s wild hippos, she didn’t count on the flood of tears.
“I was crying a lot,” said Serna, a Colombian veterinarian who is spearheading an ambitious campaign to sterilize the dozens of hippos that are roaming Colombia and causing devastating environmental damage.
“I am a strong woman, but it was a lot of stress because I love these animals and I want to protect them.”
The crying began almost as soon as Serna began filming “The Hunt for Escobar’s Hippos,” which premieres on the Smithsonian Channel on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

President Trump’s longtime adviser Kellyanne Conway is stepping down from her role at the end of the month.
Conway, whose daughter Claudia has sparked national attention this summer over her anti-Trump tweets, said she and her husband are taking time off to tend to their four children.
“We disagree about plenty,” Kellyanne said in a statement, referring to her husband, George Conway, the co-founder of the Lincoln Project, a Republican anti-Trump group.
“But we are united on what matters most: the kids,” Kellyanne said in her statement.
Kellyanne, who helped guide Trump to victory in 2016 as his third campaign manager, told the president of her decision Sunday night in the Oval Office, the Washington Post reported.

750 Million GM Mosquitoes Will Be Released in the Florida Keys
With the aim of reducing rates of the mosquito-borne illnesses yellow fever and dengue, a pilot program will release 750 million genetically modified mosquitoes into the Florida Keys in 2021, thanks to approval by the barrier islands’ Mosquito Control District Board of Commissioners at a meeting on Tuesday (August 18).
The strain of GM mosquitoes, known as OX513A, is an altered form of Aedes aegypti created by UK-based biotech firm Oxitec. Released mosquitoes will be all male, as male mosquitoes do not bite and generally only feed on nectar. Thanks to a conditionally lethal genetic variant, when OX513A mosquitoes mate with wild females, their offspring should die before they are old enough for females to begin biting.

America’s Moral Obligation for Universal Broadband
Too little progress has been made to ensure that high-speed Internet is available to all. As the pandemic has demonstrated, far too many still don't have what they need to function in a virtual world.
The impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the lives and livelihoods of so many Americans confirms a belief many of us held two decades ago: that someday broadband would be as essential to modern life as clean water and electricity. We made this prediction amid some snickering and heckling by academic and government types, but we believed, as I wrote in my book Civil Rights to Cyber Rights, that we had "a moral obligation to see that broadband becomes universally accessible and beneficial to the public."
We envisioned a wired nation where all important social functions would be performed in a virtual town square or from smart homes. Not only has this not happened, but COVID-19 has brought to light just how unprepared we are as a nation to function in this type of online environment despite the United States' head start in the development of the Internet. Now is the time to move forcefully to address this unfulfilled moral obligation.
Our idea of "universally accessible" was not a call for the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) to strictly regulate the Internet as it did telephony, but we anticipated that there would come a time when the public might heavily rely on the Internet and citizens without it would be at a distinct disadvantage — economically, educationally and socially. Unfortunately, this time has come, and after six months of making a go at it, far too many still are not prepared to function in a virtual world. An estimated 35 percent of Black households and 29 percent of Hispanic households are still without a broadband connection.

Danbury, Connecticut names sewage plant after John Oliver
John Oliver dumped on the wrong Connecticut town.
The British comedian took the piss out of Danbury on his HBO show last week — so officials are naming the local sewage plant after him.
“We are going to rename it the John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant,” Mayor Mark Boughton said Saturday in a Facebook video.
“Why? Because it’s full of crap just like you, John.”
The move comes after the Aug. 16 episode of “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” in which the host explored the racial disparities in the jury selection process, citing problems in a few Connecticut towns.
He then randomly brought up Danbury, saying: “If you are going to forget a town in Connecticut, why not forget Danbury because — and this is true — f–k Danbury.”

Kamala Harris (D-CA), said. “That is the fundamental flaw of this administration’s thinking to begin with. In order to keep the country running and moving and the economy growing, and people employed, you have to fix the virus, you have to deal with the virus.”

Trump’s changes include the restoration of the original diamond-shaped boxwood hedges and the installation of new rose bushes to honor the space’s history. July home sales spike a record 24.7% as Prices set a new high
Sales of existing homes soared 24.7% in July from June, according to the National Association of Realtors.
That's the strongest monthly gain in the history of the survey, going back to 1968, and the highest sales pace since December 2006.
Sales were 8.7% higher from July 2019.
The numbers represent closed sales, meaning contracts signed in May and June.
The increase in sales came as supply fell, prices rose and mortgage rates stayed low.
The supply of existing homes plummeted 21.1% annually, with just 1.5 million homes for sale at the end of July. This represents a 3.1-month supply at the current sales pace, down from a 4.2-month supply a year earlier. It's the lowest July supply in the history of the inventory survey, which has been tracking single-family supply data since 1982.
"The new listings are running a little higher than one year ago but all those new listings are being grabbed by the buyers and taken off the market," said Lawrence Yun, chief economist for the Realtors.

County Executive Interviews at Civic Center
I would like to make two comments about this news site before I move on to my article.
1. No matter how long of an article I've ever written, Joe has always printed the entire article. Other sites will limit you to 150-200 words. To me that means they are not really interested in what you have to say as much as being able to say, "We give our customers a chance to respond in the Opinion Section". Perhaps they should change this and they would get more attention to their newspapers.
2. When you go to the right side of the site and scroll down you will start seeing many years written out. If you click on them it's like a history book. You can go back many years and see articles on what has been happening in Wicomico County and lately more national news. For instance, say you want to find out how many times the council has voted on an important issue and then allowed public comments. Kind of like what happened at the Civic Center last week. Check history, not the first time. Suppose you want to know if there was other times when the council changed their mind and revoted to change their previous vote. Again just recently they revoted on buying property in Delmar after they had voted down buying it. BMS was voted down then later the council came back and voted for it. Look at how many times past Councilwoman Prettyman came back and flip/flopped on an issue.So precedence has been set on this revoting idea.
I believe my main concern was in the way these interviews were conducted. First, what was the darn hurry? There was only three applicants and the council has until 9/13 to get this done. I've had many years of experiences on search committees and I've never seen one like this. They had two minutes to introduce themselves and tell about their backgrounds. Two minutes! You've got to be kidding. For the highest position in the county and the council allows TWO minutes. Then a sixty second follow up at the end.
When I was a search committee chair I would ask that each member on my committee to assign a number of 1-5 as to how well each candidate answered the questions. Then we would tally the numbers to see who had the highest numbers and that person usually got the position. Did the council members do that also? I would love to see their grading sheets and explanations of the grades. But maybe they didn't have to do that process. I mean who is going to check them? Perhaps there was another reason though and the public viewing of the hiring process was just a show and tell for the public. Perhaps they already knew who would be chosen. But the question is was this a fair, thoughtfull process for the candidates and to the public? You will have to make that decision yourself now and at the election in 2022. Maybe the Good Doctor should ask more questions to the council because it's only fair before he signs on.

Unbelievable. This was the time that I would ask the candidate if they had any questions for the search committee and give them the time to answer.
Then there was the questions. Search committees are suppose to develope questions to see if the candidate is qualified for the job and how he would fit into the job. Now the council asked if the candidates could devote their time to this position as a full time job but I didn't hear any explanation from the council on exactly how much time this job would entail. There is presidence already set for the time needed. We've had two County Executives, and though I didn't agree with a lot of Mr. Pollits ways of doing things I do know he spent a lot more than forty hours a week on the job. Then Mr. Culver must have set a record for hours worked. He could be found all over the county at any time day or night from checking how methane gas generators work at the landfill to what's happening at the sewage plants to driving a snow plow at night while it was snowing. This doesn't even count the time a County Executive has to spend out of town in Annapolis or in New York during budget and bond time. Yes, they did ask if the candidates could perform this position as a full time job but they knew everyone would say yes because it would have been stupid to shoot yourself in the foot at an interview. But what they didn't ask was how they could do that knowing each candidates situation. They knew what they did to Ms. Ennis the week before, they knew that delegate Anderton would have to resign his position to take this job but what they didn't know and didn't find out was how Dr. Demarais would be able to hold down two full time positions. Since he was a full time employee at PRMC with a very demanding position they did not appear to be concerned if he would have to give up part of that position and lose patients (I only mean the number of patient here because I hear he is a very good cardiologist) and revenue for his family. Here again I had to ask myself that with a job of such responsibilities why didn't they give him more time to explain, why the hurry?

'Serial grifter' avoids eviction from woman's NYC home: suit
A West Villager has been tormented for more than a year by a messy, obstinate roommate who has been refusing to pay rent or move out, according to shocking court papers.
Barrow Street resident Heidi Russell’s short-term renter, Kate Gladstone, is a “serial grifter” who has become a long-term nightmare, taking over her apartment, repeatedly spritzing her with cleaning chemicals and basically squatting for free, the court papers claim.
It’s been so unbearable, Russell often flees her two-bedroom apartment during the day, just to get away from Gladstone.
“She’s turned me into a homeless person during the pandemic,” said Russell.
“I’m out on the street, with my mask and my old dog in a carriage. It’s just taken over our lives.”

Paterson, NJ Election Invalidated Due to Mail-In Voter Fraud
A New Jersey election has been invalidated by a judge, and a new election has been ordered to be held, due to rampant mail-in voter fraud.
On Wednesday, State Superior Court Judge Ernest Caposela ruled that the election for a Paterson City Council seat had been irreversibly tainted. A new election has been ordered to take place in November.
The mayor of Paterson praised the ruling. “It was the right ruling,” Mayor Andre Sayegh told CNN. “That past election was fraught with fraud.”
Four people were charged with criminal conduct in connection to the fraudulent election, including a Paterson councilman and the councilman-elect.

Trump to announce 'Major Therapeutic Treatment" Tonight ?
Update (9:05ET): President Trump is expected to hold a press conference Sunday evening regarding a major therapeutic "breakthrough" for treating COVID-19, the White House said late Saturday night.

Teacher Spying on Student During Virtual Class Sends Cops to Search 11-Year-Old's Home After Spotting a BB Gun
A Baltimore County, Md., fifth-grader got a visit from the police after his teacher called to report that she had seen a BB gun on the wall behind the student during a class video call.
The boy’s mother, Courtney Lancaster Sperry, a Navy veteran, is warning other parents about a lack of privacy during virtual classes after her son was targeted by a teacher who saw what she thought was a scary-looking gun hanging on the wall of the boy’s bedroom.
“While my son was on a Zoom call, a ‘concerned parent’ and subsequently two teachers saw his properly stowed and mounted Red Ryder BB gun and one other BB gun in the background,” Sperry wrote on Facebook. “He was not holding them and never intentionally showed them on video. In fact, he was oblivious that they could even be seen in the background.”
After the teacher reported the gun, the principal, Jason Feiler, decided to call the police to report the guns and ask that the home be searched.
The principal and the teacher cited a rule stating that students may not bring guns to school and claimed it extended to virtual classes as well, Sperry said, adding that the school handbook does not address rules for virtual learning at all. Besides, “he did not BRING anything to this meeting and he is in his own home,” she said. “They were simply in the background in our home, safely stowed in a room behind a closed door, with no ammunition (if you can even call it that).”
Sperry told PJ Media that the school’s vice-principal called her ex-husband, claiming to be checking on network connectivity. She believes the real reason for the call was to find out whose home her son was at. The vice-principal “ended the call without leveraging the opportunity to discuss the matter and rather was fishing for information to find out where to dispatch police,” she said.

Here's a guy who has not committed to giving up his practice solely to become County Executive and yet they elected him instead of two other very qualified candidates.

The board of education put out the plan for fall 2020 that requires attendance and they are doing live instruction only - they are not recording their lesson plans so parents can do the lessons around their work schedule.
I have called the school my son goes to and was told to wait and see what the teacher says.
I called the board of Education and I was transferred two times to two different people and have not received a call back... my question is simple. What are families that work suppose to do?! They are setting us up for failure.
To add my son is 5 so he can’t do this alone. He’s in daycare while we work and his daycare is unsure how to make this work with their school aged raging from kindergarten to fifth grade.
I hope you can bring some light to this issue!

Maryland has opened a statewide hotline to report potential violations of executive orders meant to stem the spread of COVID-19, contrasting Gov. Larry Hogan’s previous statements urging local jurisdictions to take more control over enforcing the orders.
In a release, the state said the toll-free “COVID Prevention Line” is a joint effort between Maryland’s Emergency Management Agency, Department of Health and State Police to respond to concerns residents may have about people not exercising proper social distancing or otherwise not taking necessary precautions in light of the pandemic.
The state wrote in its release the hotline is “to facilitate a statewide communication process for citizens to report concerns about potential situations where precautions are being ignored that will prompt follow-up by local health officials and, if necessary, law enforcement officials.”
The hotline — which can be reached by calling 1-833-979-2266 or by sending an email to prevent.covid@maryland.gov — is open 24 hours a day and callers can remain anonymous, the release reads.

Publishers Notes: Here's the problem. Anyone at any time can send in bogus complaints and that is EXACTLY what these nut cases are doing. As I had mentioned before, I had a couple come into by bar/restaurant complaining that "loud voices spread the virus". We immediately and very politely asked them to leave. I have had calls from the health department stating my one and only warning because someone called them and stated we weren't disinfecting tables. I actually told them, now you are pissing me off. You can complain about all kinds of things with this virus but one thing I know for sure is that my two anal retentive OCD Bartenders are in fact disinfecting every single time someone gets up, including outside tables. So the person that allegedly called the health department was full of crap, but they don't care.
Governor Hogan is the problem. He spent so much taxpayer money on test kits that aren't being used to the extent he wanted and he wants every single Marylander to get tested, that is his goal. Hogan wants you sick. Hogan wants to scare the crap out of people. Hogan does NOT want you to go to bars/restaurants, especially here on the Shore. Businesses are following the guidelines and no one is getting sick. Obviously that's not good enough.
A Viewer Writes: Salisbury's BLM Signs - A Hot Mess?
I've been thinking about the BLM signs and pavement paint recently put in Salisbury. The mayor went headlong into not just allowing them, but celebrating the event.
In the end it will be an embarrassing story of how a city was hoodwinked by a small pocket of Liberals who, in turn, were hoodwinked by a slogan and a swath of politicians who saw a cheap way to make more promises not to keep and votes to collect.
This signage is objectionable on so many levels.

In the end it will be an embarrassing story of how a city was hoodwinked by a small pocket of Liberals who, in turn, were hoodwinked by a slogan and a swath of politicians who saw a cheap way to make more promises not to keep and votes to collect.
This signage is objectionable on so many levels.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Goodyear employee said the company has put out a new policy that has some calling it not equal for all.
A photo seen circulating on social media shows a slide that was presented during a diversity training showing what’s acceptable and what isn’t acceptable as part of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.‘s zero-tolerance policy.
Under acceptable: Black Lives Matter (BLM), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride.
Listed as unacceptable: Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, MAGA Attire, Political Affiliated Slogans or Material.
According to the employee who took the photo of the slide, it was presented at the Topeka plant by an area manager and said the slide came from its corporate office in Akron, Ohio.
“If someone wants to wear a BLM shirt in here, then cool. I’m not going to get offended about it. But at the same time, if someone’s not going to be able to wear something that is politically based, even in the farthest stretch of the imagination, that’s discriminatory,” said an employee, under the agreement of anonymity due to fears they could lose their job. “If we’re talking about equality, then it needs to be equality. If not, it’s discrimination.”

When ballots are loaded onto mail carrier trucks, each postal carrier will have addressed ballots to be delivered to each box on his/ her route on one day. Is your carrier a Democrat, Republican, or a socialist?
Is your carrier a Union member?
Do you trust your carrier to deliver ALL your mail to your box and not keep back those ballots for his/ her own personal use?
If you have a political yard sign in your yard or are flying a political flag your postal carrier disagrees with, will you get your baLLOT ON TIME, OR AT ALL?
On especially rural routes, and even in neighborhoods, once ballots are put in mailboxes, do you trust all people to not follow the postal carriers and reap the ballots from mailboxes to take home and mark up as desired and mail them back in?
If you didn’t get a ballot in the mail one day, you will just wait for the next day/ week, will you know in time to get a ballot?
When you try to vote at the polls, what happens when you find out you already voted in by mail?

Virginia Plans Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccinations For All Residents
As Friday's hospitalization numbers across the Sun Belt appear to confirm CDC head Dr. Robert Redfield's assertion that the American COVID-19 outbreak has peaked and is starting to fade, the State of Virginia is setting a new precedent by seriously discussing forcing Virginians to be vaccinated with whatever rushed-to-marked candidate the FDA approves first.
During an interview that aired on Friday, the state's health commissioner said he planned to invoke state law to make vaccinations mandatory - once a western product is available, presumably.

Dr. Oliver says that, as long as he is still the Health Commissioner, he intends to mandate the coronavirus vaccine.

A Tennessee school district tried to ban parents from observing their kids' virtual classes
Violators can be removed from the class
A school district in Tennessee told parents they should not attempt to observe their children's online classes and threatened that children of parents who violate that policy could be removed from class, according to the Tennessee Star.
Appealing to academic privacy concerns for students, Rutherford County Schools sent a form to parents for them to sign and agree not to listen in on what their kids are learning. The Star obtained a copy of the form.
"RCS strives to present these opportunities in a secure format that protects student privacy to the greatest extent possible, however because these meetings will occur virtually RCS is limited in its ability to fully control certain factors such as non-student observers that may be present in the home of a student participating in the virtual meeting," the form reads. "RCS strongly discourages non student observation of online meetings due to the potential of confidential information about a student being revealed."

Kamala Harris’s speech at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night was apparently so underwhelming that the party couldn’t even find 30 people on livestream excited enough about her or her speech to cheer for her after she was done.
At the conclusion of Kamala’s speech, she turned to a large video wall off-stage displaying the livestreams of supporters clapping for her. It was an awkward moment that failed to capture the excitement and intensity of traditional conventions, but the Trump rapid response team discovered the real problem with it:

Newly released audio purported to be from a recent training meeting at Goodyear Tire and Rubber company appears to corroborate the alleged training slide that went viral earlier this week.
The company came under fire this week for its recent "zero-tolerance" policy that banned overt support for police officers or MAGA hats, but expressed approval for social justice measures such as Black Lives Matter.
In the newly released audio posted by WIBW-TV in Topeka, Kansas, an unidentified instructor can be heard telling employees that they are permitted to express their views on social justice or inequity matters on attire — but only if it's the "right" kind of social justice and inequity, such a supporting Black Lives Matter or LGBTQ issues.
"Some people may wish to express their views on social justice or inequity or equity issues such as black lives matter or LGBTQ pride on their face coverings, shirts or wristbands," the instructor can be heard telling employees. "That will be deemed approved because it applies with a zero-tolerance stance."

"Some people may wish to express their views on social justice or inequity or equity issues such as black lives matter or LGBTQ pride on their face coverings, shirts or wristbands," the instructor can be heard telling employees. "That will be deemed approved because it applies with a zero-tolerance stance."

They’d threatened to before—in 2002–03, the SARS virus infected 8,000 people in more than two dozen countries and killed almost 800—and they checked off several specific boxes that emerging infectious disease specialists worry about in a virus. But they’re not the only group of viruses that researchers are concerned about. Influenza and a handful of other viruses have long been viewed as pandemic threats.
One aspect that signals pandemic potential in a virus is having an RNA, rather than DNA, genome. That’s because the process of copying RNA typically doesn’t include a proofreader like DNA replication does, and so RNA viruses have higher mutation rates than the DNA variety. “This means they can change and become more adaptable to human infection and human transmission,” says Steve Luby, an epidemiologist at Stanford University.
Researchers on the lookout for dangerous pathogens also pay close attention to viruses with track records of leaping from animals to people. Smallpox, measles, Ebola, and HIV all originated in animals, as Luby estimates that 80 percent of our most devastating infections did.
Once a virus makes the zoonotic leap from animals to humans, it must then transmit from one person to the next if it is to cause an epidemic. In this respect, SARS-CoV-2 seems to outperform the original and deadlier SARS coronavirus, MERS coronavirus, and some bird flu strains. Goodyear President and CEO Rich Kramer spoke out in defense of the company on Thursday following reports of a leaked audio reportedly recorded during a training meeting at a Topeka, Kansas, facility.
The audio caught an unnamed instructor saying that certain social causes — such as Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ pride — were appropriate to display via work apparel, but others — such as MAGA-wear, Blue Lives Matter, and items relating to supporting law enforcement — were not.
In a tweet, Kramer issued a lengthy letter about Goodyear's policies.
The lengthy letter was captioned, "A message from Rich Kramer: By now, you are aware of a visual from our Topeka factory that has been circulating in the media. I want to personally clear the record on what you are seeing and hearing."
"The slide in question was created by a plant employee to try to explain what is acceptable to wear in the workplace. The slide was not approved or distributed by Goodyear Corporate or anyone outside of that facility," Kramer wrote.

Since Texas' Lubbock-Cooper High School allows students to decorate their reserved parking spots before the school year begins, a group of students who support President Donald Trump and share adjacent spaces decided to pool their resources and spell out "TRUMP 2020,"KCBD-TV reported.
But as you might guess, such a sentiment isn't likely to go unchallenged in our woke, reactionary culture — even in northwest Texas.
And indeed, sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning, the 10 parking spots spelling out "Trump 2020" were vandalized, the station said, adding that at least one other pro-Trump spot was tagged while another Trump-themed space was left alone.

Harris Applauds Veterans Grant to Wor-Wic Community College
WASHINGTON, DC: Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) announced that Wor-Wic Community College on the Lower shore has been awarded a $64,804 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Funds originated from the Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator Safety Training Grant Program, and specifically, these grants dollars will be used to recruit and enroll veterans and/or their family members in the college’s Commercial Driver License program.
Rep. Harris made the following statement:
“As a veteran, I applaud the award of these funds to Wor-Wic Community College. Grant programs like this allow our local higher education institutions to offer certification for an in demand field to veterans and their families. Why Rachel Dolezal Isn’t Permitted To Live As a Black Woman

It appears that a lot of folks did submit to the task of watching Netflix’s latest offering — The Rachel Divide — that centers on the White woman who wants to be Black — at all costs — even if it means torturing the lives of those around her — particularly her Black kids — who pretty much serve as accessories for her crime.
Rachel Dolezal’s life became the stuff nightmares are made of when her worst kept secret blew up in her face after the relentless scrutiny by a suspecting reporter revealed the unfathomable.
It was a dramatic exercise in utter disbelief as the cultural landscape shifted to accommodate the epitome of White privilege that had never been demonstrated in such a revolting manner.
The very notion that a White woman would dare to claim an identity — that she misguidedly believes she’s earned under the guise of a freedom fighter — who has the Black sons as proof of her struggle — as well as the audacity of her station as the leader of an organization — that is historically dedicated to the bullet points of resistance and empowerment — is a glaring indication of how the deceptions of the mind can lead to delusions of grandeur.
But — even after her reputation plummeted under the strain of her gross exposure — and how that was accurately interpreted by members of the community she dishonestly sought for her own self-gain— Dolezal still opted for another chance in the spotlight — with a new documentary that does nothing more than provide an even creepier view of a woman who is tragically frightened by her own reflection.
