As violent protests and riots stemming from George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis continue across the country, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is blaming Democratic leadership in the country’s major cities for creating “the mess” that has caused strife and unrest.
Paul highlighted on New York WABC 770 AM’s “The Cats Roundtable” the fact that Democrats have been running the major cities like New York City, Portland and Minneapolis, which he argued is why they are to blame for the anarchy.

This is the stupidest. How many cities are there in America that are Democrat run, and have been so for long periods of time where there is no rioting? There are 310 cities with populations over 100,000. America splits pretty evenly right and left. If this obviously stupid meme mere true, half of America would be burning, and it's not. Also seems that people forget that Dallas, San Diego, and Jacksonville are lead by Republicans, and each place had protests and riot. People are so quick to spread false memes because they like the narrative, not enough take the time to fact check.
