New footage from a different angle has emerged of the moments before Jacob Blake, a Black man, was shot multiple times in the back by a White Wisconsin cop as Blake tried to get into his vehicle, according to a report.

He didn't listen to loud, clear and repeated lawful orders to submit to being detained and instead engaged in a series of actions that sequentially escalated his being seen as a threat to officers, bystanders and himself. The perceived threat was removed. Once it was, officers immediately rendered aid and called for medics.

Cops were called because of his actions. Found out that he had a felony warrant from July. No body cams. And no footage yet from whatever scuffle occurred on the curb side. They tried to taze but didn't work. Appears to have knife in hand as he comes across front of car. At this point no audio I'm aware of so we don't know what he or cops are saying. Opens car door and goes low rather than trying to get seated. Apparently has a rap sheet and has previously assaulted cops;cops might have been aware or not. So yes, he should have followed police instructions.
Youth with rifle was part of group guarding a business since some have decided to protect their property in the absence of effective policing. Was being chased; molotov on video thrown at him; guy he wounded had a pistol in his hand and was mere feet from him in pursuit, and had cap on labeled paramedic. Youth sought out police and voluntarily surrendered to them. More will come out and perhaps it will be clearer. Not sure if OSHA keeps records of rioters but obviously some do not take kindly to being assaulted, threatened or having their property destroyed or burned.
