Washington D.C.’s Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser fretted Monday over the community’s lack of social distancing at a weekend neighborhood block party, where a shooting broke out leaving a 17-year-old dead and 20 more people injured.
According to the Associated Press, Bowser reaffirmed to reporters at the crime scene in southeast D.C. that gatherings of more than 50 people were still prohibited in the district to slow to spread of the novel Wuhan coronavirus.
“It’s very important that as a community we have a zero-tolerance for this activity,” Bowser said, noting D.C. police need to make “difficult decisions,” and “break up these events.”
On Sunday, D.C. Police Chief Peter Newsham echoed the same frustrations over the block party that took place Friday and Saturday.

Just an observation, but becoming more and more a fact - 10 or more blacks at a gathering, be it birthday party, wedding, funeral etc., expect at least 1 or more to be carrying a gun and expect 1 or more shootings. Come on folks, if you are going to a celebratory event, you don't need a gun. Otherwise it is premeditated murder if you ask me. Where's the love?
Shoot a little longer and the number at the party would be under 50 and OK.

Bowser also mentioned about damned if you do damned if you don't quandary when it comes to policing or adding more police to a situation - in this case a large group at a cookout.

Why should any decent human being care. Most blacks don't care that they are slaughtering each other. Heck they are so disgusting it doesn't even faze them that black children are being shot and killed. Most blacks are democrats so this means most are completely lacking in any morals and are constant liars. They don't care about black lives. This is just one more of the many lies that constantly come out of their mouths. What they care about is making a killing into a racial issue. If they can't make it racial then the murder means nothing to them. It's sickening to decent people that children mean nothing to them.
