A Washington Post/ABC poll shows a majority of Americans oppose removing statues of Confederate soldiers or U.S. presidents who had slaves.
The Washington Post reported on its poll, which highlighted a stark partisan divide:
The new poll finds that 52 percent of Americans oppose removing public statues honoring Confederate generals, while 43 percent support their removal. That includes an 80 percent majority of Republicans and 56 percent of independents in opposition, while 74 percent of Democrats support the removal of these statutes.
Almost 6 in 10 white people, along with just over half of Hispanic people, oppose removing statues of Confederate soldiers, while over three-quarters of black people support their removal.
The Black Lives Matter movement continues to enjoy majority support, with 63 percent of Americans saying they support it, including 46 percent who say they “strongly” support it. But there are sharp differences among partisans, with 92 percent of Democrats and 62 percent of independents saying they back the movement, while 68 percent of Republicans oppose it.

Sad indeed.
So many blacks have shown their true colors and it's very very ugly. So many are more "offended" over a statue then over black children being gunned down. They only care about a black life depending on who the killer is. That proves you can take them out of Africa but it's very hard to take the uncivilized primitive ways of the African out of them Human beings think all lives matter When and until they start acting like human beings will they ever be looked at as equals. Animals are more civilized
White Lives Matter want statues and history left alone. That is exactly what it is history, whether blacks like it or not.
I doubt that, that many honest Americans support blm. I bet the number is higher on support for not defunding and keeping statues. The safety of citizens is number one on government list. A lot that follows is a waste of money. How about defunding studies on why do monkeys play with themselves or some elaborate funerals where thrives (politicians) lay out for trolls to view after they expire. There is not enough space to show waste. Just my humble opinion.
Too bad majority doesn't rule in the US.

159 lol I believe most of the statue destruction vids and other vandalism I have seen have been in crowds of white kids. But keep on day dreamin. Not to mention, lets be real. Most of you claim blacks are so uncivilized, then you go into a rage about affirmative action when you see a black man with a better job, more money, and a better house/car than you. And don't let him happen to be with a white woman. LOL
