HUD Revokes ‘Unworkable’ Obama-era Rule Designed to Diversify the Suburbs

The Trump administration said Thursday that it is revoking an Obama-era housing regulation that was designed to eliminate racial disparities in the suburbs but was deemed “unworkable” in practice.

In a statement, Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson said the regulation known as Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, or the AFFH rule, was “unworkable and ultimately a waste of time for localities to comply with.”

I was concerned that all new construction communities would have to allot a portion of that community for Fair housing (section 8) homes. Why work at all when it can be given to you. Thank you President Trump for scrubbing this stupid Obama initiative.
If Obama was so worried about fair housing - why did he build a wall around his mansion in DC. He is a criminal.

I have Syrian and Haitian refugee families living in my neighborhood. They were Placed here during the Obama regime.
They do not work, at least during the day or evenings. I’m trying to figure how they make ends meet.
They make no attempt to assimilate. They don’t even speak to anyone. One walks through the neighborhood reciting Koran Verses and saying Allah U ackbarrr... It’s kinda spooky.
