Ive not experienced it personally but Ive read many articles about experiences through out the Country. Some claim a lack of change, some blame the possibility of covid transmission with the currency exchange, most seem to believe its the push to a cashless society...more control and tracking.

I have noticed sudden clean outs of popular stores one week they have stores full of merchandise now they are empty are all the stores in Salisbury set to close? Home Goods here floors flowing with merchandise last week now it looks like empty space, same thing with Ross and Marshalls. This is sudden just within the last week, is the stuff being shipped to other stores? I'll be glad to pay in coins that's not a big thing for us women change weights our purses down.

How are you goign to buy anything if the machine is broken??? I went into one of the local fast food joints and it was all automated for ordering and I went to order a drink with my food and it broke the machine, and I could not order... I had to leave becasue there was no way to order food once the machine was broken!!!! You have to wait for some tech to come in and fix it!!!! God knows how long that would have taken!!!! But hey as long as you have your new Iphones that cost more each release but have no new features or functions!!!! And once everything is digital, you are 100% a slave for the rest of humanity!!!!
I find it funny that I can pull out money and pay for my crap and walk off and pump my gas all before any of you clowns can get your credit card or debt card out and swipe it 5 times or stick it in the chip reader and pay for your crap, but its real convenient isn't it!!!! Lets see how convenient it is when you can't buy shit because of a power outage or someone refuses to give you your money or when the machine is broken... There is no shortage of change unless they make it short!!!! IE to go to a cashless society!!!! China already is doing it, stating Covid-19 for it!!! Saying the money is why the virus spread!!! How convent is it, when you can't get change? You have to use a card? When the power goes out? When the machine breaks? If china is going cashless and other countries forcing people to only get 100 a month out of their banks for food or bills, then it sure as hell coming to america!!!! But just wait for your bank account or savings get wiped out by a hacker, or when the govt does something to you for not following their agenda!!! I agree there would be no coin shortage if the government didn't want there to be a shortage. Something very mysterious is going on in this country. My best advice is to buy gold now while it's fairly reasonable. Gold is the only safe haven when government fails. With 24 trillion of debt, all the money the government collects from taxes will not be enough to even pay the interest on the debt. At that time we are officially bankrupt and money is worthless. I would really like to know other peoples views on this.

Because there were so many less people out buying in stores and so many stores were closed there was less money in circulation. Many people were shopping on line. In a few weeks when the unemployment checks run out, people will be taking their jars of loose change to the bank for cash and coins again will be available. If I had a dollar for every time I heard we were going to be a cashless society in my lifetime, I would be wealthy.

I don't use anything but my cash back credit card. I've done that for over 4 years now. I just don't use change. Does make it difficult when making a transaction that requires cash.
But, cash back credit cards are great. I've gotten about $500.00 cash back in the about 4 years I've charged everything. That's not taxable money back. But you have to pay on time in full every month on the card. So I write one check a month.
