For those of you saying this is a "racist" beating, if you really watch the video closely, this fight started between two white kids and then escalated further. Also later it even shows some black kids helping the one white kid off the bench almost like they were carrying him out of there. This was not a racist thing. This was just a bunch of punk kids being punks no matter what their color is. Also, the dude recording this video should have at least had his GF on her phone calling the damn cops while he filmed this at least. Not just watching everything unfold.

Nobody who is truly local goes anywhere near the inlet up through 28th unless they either own a business or property, or work in one of those capacities. Any of the locals I know all stay north of 81st street just because of this sort of mess. It is no secret, and the city council and mayor are all well aware. Yet they somehow get elected and the town residents allow this to go on. I’m sure if the business community made a bunch of noise, something would be done quickly. However, they don’t and I do not expect anything to be done about it.
