Sure hope and pray Grif is safe and makes it home. Must really be frightening out of his element. Please advise when home safe.
I pray for Grif and your family hope he is returned ASAP.
He is probably very close by. It's not common for an indoor cat when they get out to go far. I would take a walk around at night when it is quiet and softy call his name over and over and keep your ear out for meowing.
Cat sites will tell you put his litter box outside, with some food, an article of clothing with your scent on it to help him find his scent trail home.
