CDC admits to giving misleading COVID-19 testing data. Several states have been making the same mistake.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention admitted that it is combining viral and antibody tests when reporting its overall testing totals, a decision which scientists say paints an inaccurate picture of the state of the pandemic in America.

The test mix was first reported by NPR's WRLN station in Miami after a nationwide analysis found major discrepancies between state reports on testing and CDC reports.

"It's apples to oranges. The two tests measure two different things," said Mary Jo Trepka, a professor of epidemiology at Florida International University.

"You've got to be kidding me," said Ashish Jha, director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, in a report by The Atlantic. "How could the CDC make that mistake? This is a mess."

This entire "pandemic" is a cluster fu*k. The CDC can't or won't give us accurate data. How can we determine if progress is being made to fight this when the data is misleading? Who are we supposed to believe? I'll tell you who, believe in yourself to make intelligent decisions no one else. A wise man once said "blind faith in you're leaders, will surely get you killed"!

Joe, why does Maryland have around 14k cases that are unassigned to any county? Many states don't have any unassigned, and others have a small percentage. Maryland's unassigned cases are more than a 1/4 of all cases. Is this due to incompetence or are they trying to cover something up? According to the numbers wicomico county could have much more cases than being reported.

8:02 could it be they are out of state residents? I don't know for sure but I do know some states I've noticed have listed Out of State deaths. What I want to know is I know several people some hospitalized that have had tested positive and have gotten tested 2 and 3 times and still positive. So are some people being counted two times and 3 times?
