Ronald Reagan Library in desperate need of donations due to coronavirus

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - The Ronald Reagan Library and Museum is asking for help during this coronavirus pandemic.

The Simi Valley facility has been closed since mid-March, depriving it of much-needed cash since it's not federally funded.

In a letter to members, the executive director says the place is bleeding about $150,000 weekly.

They say that without a quick infusion of cash donations, the library and museum won't survive.

Obama's Presidential Library will fit in a file cabinet after he redacts, rewrites and removes the contents.

Really? How are we to donate when so many are out of work and have bills to pay?

Uhmmmmm. We ALL need assistance, stand in line.

Well if it can't stand on it's own maybe it's not needed. These Presidential Libraries are more nostalgic tourist based than for scholarly use. We do have a Nation Archive and Library of Congress for truly important documents.

Books sitting on a shelf cost how much again? Just asking cuz if it is a lot, I will probably throw all my books out.

Take money from the Obama site he contributed nothing but racism and hatred for our first responders.

You have heard of the one percenters, haven't you? That's the one percent of Americans that have more wealth than they and and the generations that follow them can spent in the rest of their lives. That one percent equals 3,500,000 people that have more money than they and their heirs can ever spend. Certainly they can help bail out the museum that honors the man that helped make it possible for them to amass so much of our nation's wealth. Not everyone is out of work or strapped for cash.
