Is it a coincidence this was released the same day they closed Walston Switch extended? Probably not. Probably. Probably not. Probably. They will keep trickling out information over the next coming years that they want us to know and hide everything they deem us normals are not important enough to know.
Page 2 says this designated does not bring any federal funding for the building of a large facility? How does the airport then get the funding to build this massive complex? Is this part of the $36,000,000 that the County is going to spend at the airport over the next 3 years or is this massive complex going to cost additional money?
lots of sweetheart deals cut at that airport! all these so called commissions that supposedly work on behalf of the city/county are filled with people feathering their own pockets at the taxpayer expense. Look at what happened to the zoo!
Why in the he double hockey sticks do we need could storage? Their might not be funding yet but I bet this is the first step to get funding for something. Salisbury is mini Baltimore of crime and now they are trying to turn the airport into BWI. But shutting the roads around it causing more traffic problems. Just wait until the traffic light goes up and the accidents increase.
speaking of wasting money go out and look at fields 1 and 4 at the Parker Athletic Complex. I walk out there several times a week and it is absolutely unbelievable. the county must be loaded
And we have to drive 40 mph between Kilbernie and Salisbury because of the last deadly accident at Walston Switch road and Mt Hermon road. The traffic will be greatly reduced at that intersection now with the section of Walston Switch road bordering the airport property closed, but the speed limit will continue to be 40 mph, for our safety not revenue of course. All decided at Langley.

This may have bee facilitated by the runway extension and promise of Salisbury's water. Because of it, more $$ for the airport.

Your tax increases every year will fund it. Do you really have faith your local government can handle emergencies at the airport.

Cold storage? Think hundreds or even thousands of dead from a natural or unnatural disaster.

What type of emergencies are you referring to 5:51? Plane crash, fire, car theft, robbery. I see no real issue that our first responders can't handle
The light just came on ... time to start a funeral service business. Thanks for the intel
