The Maryland Board of Elections is recommending that no in-person voting be permitted for the June 2 primary because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Instead, ballots would be sent to all of the state's more than 4 million voters, who would then have to mail them in or drop them off, according to The Baltimore Sun.
In making their recommendation, board members said they could not guarantee poll workers would get protective equipment. Under the new plan, voters would receive ballots by mail before June 2. The voters would then cast their ballots by mail using an included postage-paid envelope. Voters would also have the option of placing their ballots in drop boxes, according to the newspaper.

Right, and the City of Salisbury is refusing to pick up our recyclables but yet we can mail-in ballots that have been handled just like the bottles and cans. Nothing like Jake Day ripping us off again!
No way , would I recommend voting by mail. Someone has to come up with a better idea.

In the gubernatorial election sometime back in Somerset Co., After the counting of the absentee votes somehow more votes were found that had been laying in the Post Office. This changed the final tally of the overall count.
Kudos to the State Board for again engineering a colossally stupid move. Everyone knows the electorate isn't safe with the worst run office in the Fed Government. They can't handle their
own business yet trust the election to them? Who the Hell is that stupid?

Next, the workers can wear haz-mat suits or kiosk the machines outside so they don't come in contact with anyone's germs but theirs.
