China is threatening to wreak havoc on America’s drug supply amid the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak. Thanks to our globalist elite and especially missteps during the Obama-Biden administration, Beijing has the power to do just that.
In an article in Xinhua, one of the Chinese Communist Party’s mouthpieces, Beijing threatened that it can impose pharmaceutical export controls after which America will be “plunged into the mighty sea of coronavirus.”
Unfortunately, Beijing isn’t bluffing about this capability.
As Rosemary Gibson, co-author of “China Rx: Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine,” testified to a congressional commission last summer, China has a dominant role in the manufacture of the generic drugs that comprise 90 percent of what Americans take.

Former President Nixon wanted to open trade with China and that hasn’t worked out so well for America.
Wasn't it Bill Clinton that opened the door to china for trade? We have been screwed ever since.

The pharmaceutical companies can make 3000% profit on meds from China and ONLY 1000% on meds produced in the U.S., so they absolutely need to make them in China.
No business can survive on ONLY 1000% profit !!!

If necessary, require Big Pharma to make it here and regulate the costs. And if they do not agree, ban them.
It's not just medicine nearly everything used in the health care system is made in China. Not only is it bad economic policy it is a national security threat to be so dependent on them . Hospitals are already cancelling elective surgeries with routine supplies in short supply.

Common sense has gone out the window, everyone is panicking, and no-one takes the time to THINK FOR THEMSELVES...they only read the headline on their Facebook feed and believe whatever they're told. We need to be prepared in this county to pay more for our goods so they can be manufactured here. Put more Americans to work, have everyone earn their own living instead of accepting handouts, and this Country will be much better off!
