And you know for a fact that this place was suitable for dwelling? It wouldn't cost so much to recycle if we invested in our own infrastructure and green energy (if you want to continue pointing the finger). Sustainability has been at the forefront of liberal policy for decades.

There were 35 comments and counting on Jake's Facebook post about this. Now there's THREE comments. It turns out on the City's own Facebook page that people are pissed and Jake came back attacking 32 people and then removed their comments. Jake went on to say that NO ONE READS SALISBURY NEWS, after someone stated they were going to share the post with me. Are all Liberals, (especially local ones) just tat damn stupid? Do they really believe I'we don't exist and no one comes here? They conveniently say such things but let's just look back at the past 3 weeks where it has all been about SBYNews breaking all kinds of covered up stories, police department evidence room, 3 officers and corruption, SU graffiti, drag queen cancellation at Pittsville library on school property, Zoo loosing AZA accreditation and the list goes on and on. Jake, no one is buying your bullsh!t any more. You take away citizens first amendment right by removing citizens comments. You are the worst of the worst. You are a liberal hack. I can assure you, someone is going to run against you and remove you from office.
More Destruction downtown. Will it ever end ? Was this building historical and if so isn't it supposed to be really tough to get permits to renovate let alone tear down ?

In liberal speak "affordable housing" means they are going to cram those places with the same people that made some parts of Salisbury unlivable for normal folks. Ghetto expansion is what it should be called.

Of course it was historical. Any old building downtown is historical, it's a part of our... get this..."History."
Downtown Salisbury was granted "Historical Status" by the state of Maryland and Jake Day with the help of Jim Ireton, Jack Heath and Manure Bota ruined that! Can that be reported to the State of Maryland?
He will never be removed from office if concerned people won't get off their lazy asses and vote. He should have been a one term mayor. Anybody eligible voter that didn't vote has no right to complain.
You people are out of touch. It would be easy to recycle that building I have been doing it for over fourty years. Shoreland freezer was the largest build in Salisbury I recycled it. Their are a lot of things you can do with the brick. First building in Salisbury to get recycled was the Incinerator were the police station is now. I have noticed the young people think they KNOW IT ALL. They cost people a lot more to get something done.
