Bernie Sanders wants to double Andrew Yang's universal basic income idea to combat coronavirus

Bernie Sanders said he believes giving every household in the country $2,000 will help ease financial pain caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

"We need to provide a direct emergency $2,000 cash payment to every household in America every month for the duration of the crisis to provide them with the assistance they need to pay their bills and take care of their families," Sanders said during a 50-minute policy address Tuesday.

The Vermont senator's speech, coinciding with polls closing in Florida, did not refer to how the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate is on the ballot in the Sunshine State, as well as Arizona and Illinois. He faces decisive defeats in all three primary contests at the hands of Joe Biden, the two-term vice president and the party's presumptive nominee.

We give billions away to failing corporations and industries every year, why not to the people? Oh right, because it's only socialism when you're not incredibly rich.

It's surprising that even Republicans are calling for direct payment to Americans. Hoping small businesses will get some relief as well.

Give the money to consumers and small business in checks, NOT LOANS. Bail out small business, not Boeing. Base it on Tax returns. 80 percent of jobs in this country are created by small business.
Airlines, Cruise industry, etc. will use the free 50 billion dollars for stock buy backs to save Trumps precious stock market, which needs to go down another 10,000 points to be real, if not more.
Send me the Money!

Bernie told Fox town hall he would NOT close borders and said trump was racist for doing it. Campaign over. Biden said Trump doesn’t have any scientist and closing China’s border was wrong and China is not a threat. Campaign over.

Get rid of the other entitlements and the bureaucracy that "manages them" and make direct payment for minimum income producers. Think about it with an open mind.

Bernie should donate the first million to do this..

Give only to the people not drawing any type of tax payer assistance since they have everything already paid for them. They get double payment from the government which is wrong.
