In July 2019, Gov. Ralph Northam proposed a package of eight proposals that would tighten Virginia's gun laws, known as some of the least restrictive in the country. Currently, Virginia's gun control measures of merit ban the sale of firearms only to high-risk individuals and those convicted of domestic violence. However, the proposals would turn the least restrictive into what some would call dangerously restrictive, a premeditated strike against the Second Amendment. Northam's proposed package calls for legislation:
- Requiring background checks on all firearms sales and transactions. The bill mandates that any person selling, renting, trading, or transferring a firearm must first obtain the results of a background check before completing the transaction.
- Banning dangerous weapons. This will include bans on assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, bump stocks and silencers.

The Blackface wearing idiot has drawn a line in the sand that will soon be soaked in blood, (the sand) and he will be in his mansion guarded by armed security and laughing.
The first line of defense should be through exhausting all legal appeals against his unconstitutional behavior and actions. That is why it is very important to support and belong to Associations that fight for citizens 2nd amendment rights; such as, The National Rifle Association and others. If seeking redress using such means with the support of such organizations fails, then no holds barred should rule the day.

SCOTUS will stop Virginia in their tracks. Passing a law to confiscate guns will fast track the legislation straight to SCOTUS before the first gun is confiscated, and Virginia will not like the results. It will be the best thing for second amendment rights, and a fatal blow to gun control regulations.

I'm an old guy with somewhere between 10 and 20 guns. Only one was purchased and registered when bought. The rest were bought through private sales or inherited. Worst case scenario, I lose my registered gun. The rest will be used to fight the government.
