A Tulsa, Oklahoma, homeowner’s son shot an alleged intruder Saturday morning after the suspect ignored numerous warnings.
Fox23 reports the incident unfolded some time before 3 a.m., when five people were in the home and the suspect knocked on the door. The suspect “asked to speak to his fiancee” and allegedly refused to listen when told that he had the wrong house.
Oklahoma News 4 reports that the suspect then allegedly “broke into the family’s car” and tried to get in through the home’s back door.
Dylan Andres, the homeowner’s son, warned the suspect that he was armed, saying, “I will shoot you if you step foot in this house.”

I can’t see how is life was in jeopardy. Sad.
Ok, so if you walk into a lions den, what is most likely in there and what is most likely to happen? There’s gonna be a lion and he is gonna eat you. Well this is how I see it, my house is my den and I’m the lion. That is where my family and I feel safe from the jungle and if they force their way into my home, I do not know if they have a gun or a wooden spoon or what their intentions may be. All I know is that they forced their way into my house and my life and my family’s life is no longer safe, it’s in imminent danger. So, that’s where being the protector of my house and family I take action and if that means I have to shoot the perpetrator dead, then so be it but I’m going to make sure my family and I are Safe. I’ll act now and answer questions later. I’m not going to wait and see what he’s going to do inside my house or to my family, they shouldn’t be in there in the first place. I didn’t invite them in. As for this guy, he even told him what would happen if he did. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes!!!!
He did the right thing. I would have done the same!
What part of "Don't enter this house!" did the idiot not get?
I wouldn't have given any warning. One night someone tried to break into my house. I heard the window break and my dog began to growl un-controllable. So I reached out for my 45 walked into the room and waited. Whom ever it was must have had a 6th sense. I could see the outline if their body. Pretty big SOB. But as soon as he put both feet on my floor. That SOB would be all over the floor.
I know right
336, do you leave your doors unlocked or wide open and let drunk or confused strangers come in at will ?
No doubt he shot the guy, but I seriously doubt that person ever set foot in his house. He would have dropped where he was shot. But the homeowner's son had time to get his story straight with the "witnesses" in the house before the police arrived. And that's their story, and they're not going to change it. I do believe he deserved to be shot after he refused to leave and looked for a way into the house. That should teach him a lesson, if he survives.
Northwest Woodsman: Ok 3:36, not knowing the circumstances or the action of the suspect, how long would wait to shoot if a violent offender was attacking and trying to enter your house? Maybe call 911, wait ten minutes for it to be answered, another few minutes to dispatch an officer then at least a 15 to 20 minute en-route. Would that be enough time for you to cower in your closet waiting to be killed or seriously injured. People with your attitude really annoy me.
