Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins reacted on Friday to the Virginia state House Democratic majority pushing several gun control measures to the upper senate chamber, calling it an "overreaching agenda against the Second Amendment."
“Never have I, or anyone, seen in the Commonwealth of Virginia someone have a topic so strongly opposed as this issue and suddenly this strong uprising against it,” Jenkins told “Fox & Friends First.”
Jenkins' comments came after four gun control bills on Monday advanced in Virginia’s General Assembly, setting the stage for a contentious showdown between gun rights advocates and Democratic lawmakers who have vowed to bring comprehensive changes to the state.

You see, that is the Democrats mistake. They went too much at one time. They should have done in Virginia like we did in Maryland. Take a little bit of the Second Amendment at a time until they get all of our rights. We do not have as many rights in Maryland as they do in Virginia till now. As far as our gun rights. If you want to boil a frog you don't boil the water and put the frog in. He will hop out. You start with cold water put the frog in and then bring it to a boil slowly and then you can boil the Frog. That's what we did in Maryland. Virginia went too fast and boiled the water before putting the frog in.
And the day fast approaches when said boiling water will be poured down your throat and that dead frog will be shoved where the sun dont shine.
Conservatives are a peaceful people but when you final cross that line your standing on screaming your threats at me, only God will have mercy on you. You wont like me as a felon.
