On Thursday, Gov. Ralph Northam (D- VA) detailed a proposal that would give local communities power to control the fate of their Confederate War memorials.
Currently, there is a statewide prohibition against removing them.
Another bill would authorize the Commission for Historical Statues in the US Capitol to remove the Robert E. Lee statue in the National Statuary Hall Collection.
The Governor did not have any immediate recommendations for which statue should replace it. Instead, he suggested that it should be determined by a commission.

Hey Northam, that was last years fad.
Now, this guy is a racist, and a liberal left wing radical nut job. Who is he pandering to and why?
Someone should go out to the statue and paint the face black and give him a democrat flag to wave and then everything will be okay.
I've got a better idea. Let's move Guv. Coonman from the state capital.
Gov. Coonman needs his Head removed!
Simply put, if you love the US Constitution, than you can't glorify the confederacy. Plain and simple
