I think you're old enough to remember Jimmy Carter's presidency.. an absolute disaster that clearly demonstrated his total incompetence as well as that of the whole Democrat party that was in place with him at the time backing his policies.
Do I remember correctly that in the next election the democrats got
routed so badly that they almost disappeared? Isn't that how it went?
I'm supposing that is what is ahead for 2020.. sometimes it is best to just let the Pelosis and Nadlers and Schumers 'have their moment' so that EVERYBODY can see for themselves what this is all about, and what these people really stand for.
I believe that almost everyone in this country (except for those few who are terminally stupid) have had about all they can stand of this
foolishness.
We shall soon see.

My anger flairs every time I see Nancy Pelosi. She is so pleased with herself. The smirks. Now she is bragging that President Trump will always be known as an impeached President. She is ahead of herself - Senate has something to say. Yes he will be known as being impeached by the Angry Democrats.

I remember it too. But it wasn't just the incompetence of Carter - it was waiting for hours in line for gas, and only on the odd/even day your license plate allowed. It was the energy crisis, the hostages in Iran...the entire country was in a morass and he only made it seem worse.
Then Reagan came along and made us feel more positive about the country as a whole. When the 84 election happened, the Dems were so dispirited that they went ahead and put Ferraro up as the VP choice, knowing they were going to get killed so why not be the first major party to put a female on the ticket.
However, all that being said, Democrats kept control of the House of Representatives for 40 years starting in 1955. They took control of the Senate in 87, and kept control until 95. So they weren't quite lost in the wilderness through all those years.
Vote Trump in 2020 but also vote Republican for EVERY race. Vote all Democrats out of the House of Representatives, Senate, school boards, city councils, and mayors.
Trump is now NOT impeached because Nazi Peloser failed to send the Articles to the Senate. Good. Her sitting on the impeachment papers makes then halfway to where the belong.

The only reason that Carter got elected was because of Nixon's crimes, and the man who pardoned him. Without the pardon, Ford would have won. Because of my distaste for the pardon, I did the unthinkable. I voted for a peanut farmer from Georgia. Worst vote I ever cast.
Carter gave us Reagan. Obama gave us Trump. Ironic, isn't it? America's worst democrat presidents give America the best presidents after them. And democrats never know what hit them. They are so very much out of touch with America.
