BALTIMORE —Former Maryland Del. Cheryl Glenn of Baltimore has been charged with wire fraud and bribery, U.S. Attorney Robert Hur announced Monday morning.
The criminal information was filed in July and unsealed on Monday.
Glenn is accused of accepting $33,750 in bribes in exchange for voting for a bill to increase medical marijuana grower licenses. She is also accused of promising to lead the effort to change the law in order to provide a preference for Maryland residency to instate medical marijuana applicants.
It is alleged that Glenn took the money in exchange for her work on legislation concerning medical marijuana, opioid therapy clinics ad liquor licenses dating back to March 2018.
Glenn resigned from her seat last week, citing personal reasons.

She can share cells with the current and past two mayors of Baltimore. Theft seems to run in their blood.

I guess the bigger question is who are the stupid and uninformed voters that put clowns like her in office. This country is doomed. If you just landed here from Mars, you would think that the country is 80% black when you consider their being promoted by tv shows, tv news, etc. It is patently obvious that they are destroying the civilization that our ancestors built. Just look at all of the major cities in the US and you will find crime, violence and general degradation of quality of life. How many years of evolution will it require for them to meet even minimal standard of civilization? My god, am I the only one who clearly sees what is going on and where we are headed? Please wake up and try to put an end to this craziness.
