The Conference of Jewish Affairs on Thursday asked the Army to reconsider a ban on replica dog tags displaying the agency's emblem and Bible references because it bars a "personal touchstone for our warriors seeking a sense of higher mission and divine protection."
"No soldier is forced to inscribe a biblical verse on his personal dog tag, though the Army has over the years allowed soldiers to do so if they wish," Rabbi Aryeh Spero, the conference's president, said in a letter to Paul Jensen, director of the Army Trademark Licensing Program.
"Those who choose to do so feel a sense of confidence, inner strength, and inspiration when wearing or looking at their tag prior to battle or during moments of anxiousness or contemplation.
"It is not done for purposes of religious missionizing, rather as a personal touchstone for our warriors seeking a sense of higher mission and divine protection," Spero said.
"The Army is not promoting religion, rather allowing soldiers to exercise their personal religious needs."
In August, Jensen banned a faith-based company, Shields of Strength LLC, from selling the medallions with the scriptures after Mikey Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), complained that such "proselytizing merchandise" violated Pentagon policy.

The soldiers are defending Israel and helping build its Kingdom. If they want the Star of David Hex on their tags, I say let them have it!

There is no such thing as a Star of David. It's a hexagram. The upwards triangle symbolizes control of mans heart and mind and the lower triangle symbolizes control of mans sexuality and movement.

Nowhere in the bible does it state it's Gods will to create a nation of Israel. That is a Scofield rewrite of the bible.

Jesus wasn't a Jew. Many people lived in Roman Palestine, including Jews. Jesus was not a Rabbi. He went in the Temple and wrecked it not because he was Jewish but because like today we see Jewish moneychangers wrecking the economy and destroying peoples lives all while claiming God's blessing.
Just about all of the people in this country lobbying for the most ungodly things in our society, disarming our people, communism, abortion, homosexual marriage, the porn industry, removing our electoral system, impeaching our president are Jews. Research the people, it's often recorded publically as they like to flaunt it. The lady that Kelly Anne Conway had an issue with just recently described herself as the typical, snarky, lesbian, Jewish girl.
Hopefully Israeli Leaders will look kindly on Americans for all of the blood we shed for them
