The House Judiciary Committee released a report Saturday in which it argued that a president may be impeached for “illegitimate motives” even if his actions are “legally permissible.”
The 52-page report, written by 20 members of the staff for the Democratic majority, attempts to provide a legal and constitutional basis for the Democrats’ ongoing effort to impeach the president.
The report states: “The question is not whether the President’s conduct could have resulted from permissible motives. It is whether the President’s real reasons, the ones in his mind at the time, were legitimate.”
That novel theory is only one of several questionable features of the report.

The vote is going to be like Obamacare. Lock step voting by democrat majority, and and shut out the republicans. Pelosi told her minions they had to pass the bill to see what was in the bill. Obama told the democrat congress to vote for the bill, and let the voters decide if it was the right thing to do. The Democrats lost both houses of congress in the next election. The voters DID decide, and they will decide again, if impeachment was the right thing to do. Go ahead House of Reps. Vote on it. Let the voters decide. The next election is just around the corner.
Nancy lost the House over Obamacare. Now she is going to lose it again over impeachment. Two time loser. She is so power hungry, she can't help shooting her party in the foot. She'll never learn you can't ignore the voters and stay in power. The Democrats made a BIG mistake when they selected her to be the Speaker of the House a second time, after she blew it the first time around.
