Epic fail: Most now oppose impeachment as Trump approval turns positive, 48% to 47%

House impeachment proceedings have helped — not hurt — President Trump’s approval in the eyes of voters, and in the latest survey, his rating has turned positive thanks to a massive revolt against impeachment by independents.

The just-released Emerson Poll found that 48% approve of Trump, and 47% do not.

What’s more, support for impeachment is now negative, a finding that backs up other recent polling.

Northwest Woodsman: Polls are totally meaningless. Don’t pay any attention to them. If I were to run a favorability poll on president Trump and conducted it in some Marxist democrat stronghold like Seattle, his unfavorable ratings would be off the chart in negative territory. Conversely, if I conducted my poll in an area predominately republican, the opposite would occur. When I see some organization presenting their poll results, I just ignore it. I live in the woods and have one neighbor who is very conservative. One other friend a few miles away is the same. If I were to poll my neighbors, president Trump would have a very favorable score. Just saying.
