County Executive Bob Culver ISSUES BURN BAN FOR WICOMICO COUNTY


Due to drought conditions, County Executive Bob Culver has issued a burn ban order for Wicomico County effective October 3, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Culver took the action on the advice of his Burn Ban Committee. The group in composed of representatives of the county Health Department, the Forestry Service, County Department of Emergency Service, fire fighters, county code enforcement and National Weather Service meteorologists.

Also see State of Maryland regulations regarding Open Burning. No closer than 300 feet from any inhabited house or roadway, regardless of time and DNR.

How about Dried Pine Shats ??? Same nuisance as leaves !
