Jeep Wrangler under investigation after reports of bad frame welds, steering issues

The National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration is investigating complaints from Jeep Wrangler owners about poor frame welds and potentially related steering problems.

The action involves approximately 270,000 JL Wranglers from the 2018 and 2019 model years and comes after 3,566 complaints and a petition filed by an owner last year.

No accidents or injuries have been linked to the reports.

Yet their on strike. Cars cost thousands for junk. So much for the AMERICAN AUTO WORKER'S wanting more for building unsafe vehicles.

I don't buy any GM, Ford or Chrysler products because of quality problems and poor workman ship!
Honda and Toyota have production plants here in the U.S. so the problem isn't the american worker, but with management and labor unions associated with these manufacturers.
The poor quality I think is reflected in their poor attitudes and lack of pride in the product they produce. A lot of the work is done in Mexico. I won't buy a Ford car or truck because of this.

Prices are unaffordable as well. If I have to pay that kind of money, I will try the get the best quality for money since I will be stuck with high payments and a long term commitment.

Body man once told me, never buy a jeep product, because their assembly is horrible.

Go buy all the foreign cars and trucks you want 8:33 and keep wearing that brown paper bag over your head. Or Buy American, the job you save might be your own
