An ex-convict from Wisconsin has been charged with murder in the road-rage killing of a Department of Corrections sergeant who was shot and killed last week while giving her teenage son a driving lesson.
Matthew Lee Wilks, 35, was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Milwaukee County Jail on counts of first-degree intentional homicide and possession of a firearm by a felon after police said he fatally shot 46-year-old Tracey Smith in the chest in front of her son following a minor accident on August 30.
Wilks, who has a past criminal record in Wisconsin, was also charged with drug offenses. His bail was set at $110,000.

WOW! That isn't much for taking a CO's life.
That means he only needs $11,000 to get out of jail.
I agree 200, a CO's life is worth more than other people's lives after all.
I mean, she was a CO for crying out loud
LIBUTARD DEMOCRAT STATE. LIBUTARD DEMOCRAT JUDGE'S. These judges need to be CALLED OUT or just FIRED.
So a CO's life is more valuable than mine? Agreed the bail was too low for murdering ANYONE!
