A Viewer Writes...........9-12-19

I'm just curious why Jake Day gets to put his campaign signs up on City property at the Salisbury City Park and across the street on at a vacant house. You can see 2 of his signs on the Snow Hill Rd. side of the park and 2 across the street. Is he that full of himself that he thinks he is above the law?

Same reason the current President gets to campaign while doing their presidential duties right?

Anonymous said...

The answer is yes on both points.

Anonymous said...

He is full of himself to think that and even worse he gets away with it.

He’s the MAYOR!!!!! Geeeezzz

Just what does the "law" say? Do you even know? I want the viewer to explain what "laws" are being broken.

That "vacant house" is private property. No law broken, unless the property owner objects. Pull it up, and you're guilty of stealing. That's breaking the law.

11:13 AM, and because the city park is city property and he's the boy mayor, that's ok?

Anonymous said...

Throw them away.

Check the ownership of the house. It's likely owned by one of Jake's real estate/landlord buddies.

You mean like Obama did when he campaigned for re-election. Then when he was campaigning for the Hildabeast!

So you think that is ethical because he is the Mayor??

Anonymous said...

Every president does that. It's not like your job at McDonalds where if you are on the clock you have to be at your fry station or you are stealing company time.

More than likely and they will give him a free pass.

Someone should file an ethics complaint on Jake Day.

Looking at the comments I think the little Jakelettes are getting nervous

Just like Jake Day, his supporters are just as unethical as he is.

I remember when Josh Hastings, Michele Gregory and Jack Heath were putting their signs all over the city on private property. Some of them ended up in the dumpster.

I guess you don't have any idea what they do to people that steal political signs from people's yards. A lot of homes and businesses have have security cameras. The dunces that steal the signs often get caught, And yes, they get punished by the law. Don't be stupid, or say stupid things.

Anonymous said...

Theres one way to win put up more signs than Boy Mayor or put up Billboard Signs Thousands see them.

Anonymous said...

1:10 PM This is SBY city limits. Who is going to punish them?

Anonymous said...

The ordinance is you can place political signs on government, city, state, county property or you get fined. Heath did last cycle and I can tell you the one sign I put by the library was immediately removed. But when it comes to Jake or Heaths crew they get a way with it. However if you call the election board and report it they will call Jake and ask him to remove it. (410) 548-4830

Bwahahahahahahaha! I rode by the park at 12 noon today and the signs were gone. Thank you SBYNews for keeping corrupt Socialists like Jake Day in line. This is proof positive that Jake Day reads your blog and knows he was wrong!

I agree with you 100% and I would love to start with Jake Day first. Can't wait to find him in public by himself. I wish I could catch him on the boardwalk.

I don't want the elections board to call Jake Day and ask him to remove the signs, I want his gay a$$ to get in trouble like he should.

Don't eat there. They get special privileges from Jake Day, that is why he supports them. Who else gets to take up 3 parking spaces for free every day. Those food trucks are stealing business from the taxpaying restaurants in town and they get free parking at prime locations. This is unethical as well!

You can or you can't?

I remember when Norm Conway was a Delegate and Barrie Tilghman and Jim Ireton both let him put his signs up on city property and no one complained. It's that Democrat love.

Anonymous said...

Well since they are gone it must be illegal. Thanks Joe!

Anonymous said...

Yeah, it didn't take Jake Day long to take his stupid looking signs down from the City Park after he saw them on Salisbury News dot Com...LMFAO!! Thank you Mr. Albero!

You know damn well the city doesn't own them. What now? Are you saying private business owners can't express their political preferences? You HAVE TO BE A DAMOCRAT! (Typo, but I like it)

Looks like a lot of people are going to be disappointed at election time. They are already crying.

I'm not sure who you are directing that to but I'm pretty sure that 7:05 pm isn't a Democrat. Looks to me like the owners of the Food trucks are Democrats if they are supporting Gay Day!

I wouldn't eat there. They are just as crooked as Jake Day is.

By the way, has anyone ever noticed that those food trucks don't have running water?? And you idiots are eating food prepared with fecal fingers.

I see Michele Gregory, the Social Justice Warrior is running for Salisbury City Council. It won't be long until we see her signs placed illegally all over the city and on city property.

Didn't Ms. Piggy just lose a race already?

Can someone name all "the great things" Jake Day does for Salisbury?? I keep reading all these "I love Jake" comments about all the great things he does for the City of Salisbury, but no one seems to mention any of the great things he does?? The Salisbury Festival: FAILED
The Salisbury Police Department: FAILED
The Salisbury Fire Department: FAILED
Salisbury Code Compliance: FAILED
Downtown Salisbury: FAILED
Waverly Drive: FAILED

Again, can someone please name all the great things Jake Day has done for Salisbury? And feel free to add to this "Failed" list.
