NY Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand drops out of 2020 presidential race

New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is dropping out of the 2020 presidential race.

The 52-year-old Democrat announced her decision in a tweet Wednesday as her campaign, which once looked to ride strong #MeToo credentials, was plagued by low polling and fundraising struggles.

“I am so proud of this team and all we’ve accomplished. But I think it’s important to know how you can best serve,” she tweeted. “To our supporters: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Now, let’s go beat Donald Trump and win back the Senate.”

Another Democratic "also ran" bites the dust. We can only hope she has as much luck when she is up for re-election as Senator. What a schmuck. The bigger surprise is how the heck the doofus Mayor (DeBlasio) thinks he is so hot he is still in. Another schmuck.

What no one is talking about is the fact that these wana-be's get to keep the campaign funds that were given to them for their run. Many of them will reap millions all tax free! More examples of Political corruption!
